Re: control nesting bug involving square off fall

Thomas,

Got it sorry. Helps if I read your post better. Missed the part where you said go to Edit, rather than going into Settings, then Nesting Parameters. Sorry for wasting some of your time. We will get it listed and fixed.

Re: control nesting bug involving square off fall

Thomas,

Can you post an export from Control Nesting? Mine seems to be operating correctly so I'd like to see what settings you have different than I do.

Re: Cutlist Save/open button

As a note, on my Windows 10 computer I did not have the above mentioned updates installed. I had to uninstall KB4041691 to get mine to work.

Re: PE holes not cutting

Ron,

Something is going on in the coding for Interpolate function of a tool in the ShopBot Link. For now, you can uncheck the box for Interpolate for your tools and it will pocket the holes to size.

Re: PE holes not cutting

Ron,

Can you post an export from ShopBot? If you don't want to post it, you can email to cabinets@thermwood.com. Does it display the holes in the link when you nest, it just doesn't cut them?

Problem Solved: Turns out that the bolt that retains the nut at the top of the Z axis shaft had snapped off and the nut was slowly unthreading itself until finally yesterday the router dropped onto the spoilboard revealing the problem, was not a hard fix we are back up and running, thanks to the Th...

New version of Control Nesting just released. See if that corrects the scroll issue.

Re: CS45-254 Not remembering.

How do you fix the tool man file? If you can get into tool management yet, write down all your tool information for each tool you have set up. Next, shut down the THM software. Then, in the C:\system directory, rename the file toolman.thm to toolman_org.thm so it doesn't become overwritten. Find a ...

Re: CS45-254 Not remembering.

I have not noticed specifically when the daylight values go bad but i will be watching now. The EIA book error is occurring on the very first line of code it says" (Thermwood Control Nesting Version 6.02 (vs6.0)) . Terry, I have a suspicion the toolman file is becoming or is corrupted making y...

Re: CS45-254 Not remembering.

After one of the latest updates CN 6.0.2.7 our machine quit remembering its daylight values, we have to re measure all bits before starting a new job. We are also getting a invalid character in EIA book at the start of the program. After remeasuring the bits we find that they are all off by about t...

Re: No visible nodes

David is your attachment from the main screen of the cabinet editor? If I press the "M" key I get no nodes in cabinet editor. In my attachment you can see I am able to measure point to point but there are no visible nodes at the endpoints of the red line. Same thing if I try to move a wal...

Re: Issues with corner wall cabinet doors

We were adding doors to a wall corner cabinet and came across a grain issue. We were trying to add a double door to the left side of a 3 door wall corner cabinet. We needed the doors to have horizontal grain, but no matter the angle we put in the door dialogue box, the grain kept coming out vertica...

Good deal glad it was an easy fix. If this were your most embarrassing moment with the machine, I'd say you're doing alright  .

Re: cs43 red line cuts scrap in half

Hi, I'd first like to thank Thermwood for the manual part placement feature in the new control nesting. It works great and has already proved useful. One problem I have been having on about 1 in 20 files is a red line appearing across the scrap in the nest. After all operations are complete for a s...
