Re: Edgebanding on doors

Forrest,

This has not been a feature for Display Doors/Drawers at all, either by using the Change Materials or Global Item Modification. Software engineers are looking at implementing it.

Re: Edgebanding on doors

Forrest,

I'll pass along to software engineers. I'm not 100% on how it all should work but there may be some other issues. Thanks for letting us know.

Re: Absolute repeatable positioning

Clint, That is exactly what I was looking for, the aluminum brackets are missing but the fence with the black handle (that i couldn't figure out what was for) is still here, all I have to do is machine new stops and I should be in business thank you very much, I wish I would have posted sooner. You...

Re: Absolute repeatable positioning

Lenny, Not sure if they are still there or not, but when the machine was new we installed aluminum brackets on the machine for the flip fence Will linked in his post. Originally we shipped an aluminum L with a black handle bolted to it for single part flip operations that would nestle into two of th...

Re: problem with downloading latest version of control nesting

Scott,

Are you downloading it from the website straight to your thumb drive? If so, try downloading to computer, then move to the flash drive.

Re: Label printer tools greyed out

Mark, That is for machines that have automatic labelers. There are things in there to park the machine to get to the label printer, reset label count, etc. It will be greyed out unless you have an auto labeler. The features for 7.08 were additions to the database per customer request. They wanted ca...

Yes, should be corrected for 7.09.

I'll double check with software engineers, but I believe this is corrected for next version.

Re: Can't nest this job

Denis,

This sounds goofy, but the "window" is causing the issue. The issue will be fixed for the next version of eCabinets. When nesting, eCabinets sees that part first, sees that it is Alternate Source then stops looking for other parts.

Re: Unable to create geometry set in dbox editor

Stuart,

Are you trying to include the scoop cut itself in the set? If so, that is not allowed. You can group the two smaller holes together, then constrain them relative to the scoop cut. The scoop cut itself is part of the outline so it doesn't function with sets.

Re: e-cabinets crashes

My initial suspicion is to update your graphics card driver from the manufacturer's site. Not through Windows. Rarely will Windows give you the latest version.

Re: SuperControl List of Recent Files

Daunte, I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking at here. The file name for the #1 file is the same as what is at the top of THM, which has what appears to be the same file path as what is in the background in File Explorer. It all looks correct to me. If you are looking at the thought that you had a g...

Re: Mozaik

I have not yet heard of an output from Mozaik that goes in to Control Nesting. Cabinet Vision does it by creating layered DXFs for each part and a .CSV file. KCD and 20/20 create an MDB file that has all the part in formation. Mozaik was semi-recently sold and are now working with us. We have receiv...

Re: Missing Variable feature in door designer

Same reason we don't have them in Drawer Box Designer. We can't use the same v## variables as cabinets because as soon as a door or drawer goes on it could pick up a cabinet variable. So the thought came of a different variable for doors and drawers. Then there becomes the issue of two different doo...

Re: Profile edge problems

Forrest,

Any idea on how you got it to what it is? Order sweeping profiles, swapping front to back midway, changing material thickness between, erasing profiles in certain order? This is a new one on the software engineers.
