loosing .cnc files

Has any one had problems loosing cnc files. After cutting a file the next day you try to load the file and there is nothing their. I have to go back and re nest the job and re write the cnc. It has just started on my last two jobs and it doesn't happen every day.

one advantage of the moving gantry is you can get the larger 5 x 10 table for cutting larger stuff.

That would be great I am careful about renaming files before writing similar named files. I have had my employee's write over some of my files that take 30 min to write and that aggravates me.

control nesting

I wish I was able to name my files when you write your cnc code before it writes it. Some times when I have jobs with the same names in them it writes the cnc files over another existing one.

Yes I don't know what I did but I checked the file and I do have a batch cabinet in their. I did not know that it would write cabinets in the batch area in a cnc file for a room when I did not add it to the cnc. Thanks

Extra assembly????

I am cutting a decent size job about 70 sheets for a large office in a house I am doing. After cutting the job my assemblers found an extra assembly. It is a second one for Assembly 1 and the labels say BAC1 for the duplicate parts for A1C1. I went back and checked the room and can't find the assemb...

the problem with that is my small jobs are 30 sheets most are over 50 and it would take a lot of time to keep going back and printing stickers and to keep track of the numbers for each sheet.

I wish you could set the label printer to print the labels for the sheets as you cut them instead of printing them all up front.
