Re: Happy 50th Dale Kern!!!

Thanks crew!!! Nice to be remembered by you guys. I miss learning from the best on this forum - and yes, I check in from time to time. Using a number of commercial mechanical software packages now reminds me how nothing will EVER beat eCabinets. There will always be a wish list, but trust me, for su...

Re: Surgery successful

Congrats Dan! Heal fast. That 15 lb. limit should still serve you well for the upcoming holiday meals, but I recommend bringing a scale to the dinner table just to play it safe :D

God bless.

Re: Need Opinion

Gary,

I think the $5k range is very fair - I'd be right in that same ballpark. Let us know if you get the job. It's always interesting to know what people will pay these days. :wall: :wall:

Best regards,

Re: Sort of Off Topic and a Rant

Lamar, Good for you! And thanks for taking the time to remind me again we can all benefit in many ways by treating others the way we want to be treated. I have run into the same scenario a couple of times and 1) I'll get a referral 2) I'll get a future job. The important thing is I always feel good ...

Re: I am awaiting delivery of my router!

Paul,

Let me get this straight: You are using free software (eCabs) and now you are getting a free router? That ain't right..... You better call Thermwood and ask who is going to do your installations for you.

Congrats man!!

Re: Cherry Cabinets in a 20x20 Garage

David, Great job! eCabs and a garage full of tools will certainly get the job done. Really a great testimony to the power of eCabs. Now, on the next job, I recommend you using production sharing with one of your Missouri neighbors (I think that would be Damon Nabors...). That will blow you away!!! A...

Tim,

Attachments didn't work on the first post. Review this uncomplicated design for ideas.

Re: cedar chest

Tim, There is no doubt in my mind you can put your cedar chest in ecabs - but your method will depend on a number of factors including your construction style. The results, with raised panels on all four side will not resize (to my limited knowledge) automatically, as the raised panels will be appli...

Lamar,

Nice job, I'm starting a simular project and your pictures will give me some encouragment to forge ahead. What hinges did you use for the bifold pocket doors - specifically the hinges between the bifold doors? Thanks in advance, and again nice work!

Re: My new shop

John, Congrats on the new building. Nicely done. I wish you many successful years of commuting  I have a simular commute, but the building is not nearly as nice. I must say it's tough trying to justify to the wife that I couldn't make it to work because of a heavy snow.... I just get THAT look...

Re: learning eCabinet system

Sam, No magic pill here.... It is real work to learn any good software package but you will have real power once you learn even a small amount of eCabinets. The first real question you have to ask yourself is: What am I going to design with eCabinets? Kitchens? Furniture? Do you need room renderings...

Re: Ecabinets Magazine

Lamar,

I believe the last one I received was Volume 2, issue 2, dated October 2007. If you want I can mail you a copy (I have a spare copy). Just send me a PM with your address and I'll drop it in the mail.
