Thanks Jeff, I've always thought the Thermwood M&T would be a perfect solution to beaded face frames. The accuracy should be right there. It takes lots of fouling around to set the square chisel mortiser to the notch and the Maka would be great but only if doing 100 of the same FF.

Jeff, do you currently do M&T for your all face frames. I use either a square chisel mortiser or the Maka and a SET for the tenons. Was just curious what the transition would be like going to Thermwoods M&T.

Jeff I would appreciate it if you would update on the M&T machine. Everything here is M&T which is one of the things that sets me apart (if Dan's listening it's not just the lacquer) and that helps in the bottom line.

Wow absolutely beautiful. Reminds me of the benches I apprenticed on. Go ahead tell me you did the square corner mortise on a Thermwood.

Jon, you can buy half circle 5/8\" in standard sizes but I have never been real happy with them. If you want to send me the info on what you need I will quote you or send you in the right direction. Also do curved molding to match.

Come on Dan your not much older than me. Can you say vacuum. I had the luck of working on Yacht a few years back and these guys know vacuum. I think in 6 months I learned 15 years of knowledge. I used to use male/female forms and what a pain.

Well as much as I hate to I agree with Dan  . I have come to understand some of the major difficulties in upgrading this program (or any program of this level) and there are always some bugs with new releases. I find myself sitting back and reading the forum a lot before doing the upgrade. In...

Well now there's a resource I wouldn't have thought of. I did find a 12 piece used dental set for $13 which I thought was pretty good.

Oh my. I certainly hope whoever did that is no longer living. That should be a fun piece Dan. If you don't already own a set you will want to eBay search for a set of used dental tools (picks). It will be very nice when finished.

Thank you Michael. I figured that something as simple as a flute would be a piece of cake for a CNC machine.

Thats the way I have set up to do it on the pin router. 1 1/4\" ease in and out. It's one of those subtle things that makes a piece.

Now remember I'm CNC illiterate but you don't have to go through all this work to make a CNC router cut flutes do you ?
