Re: Profiling in the Part Editor
I attended a short class at Thermwood about the profile modeler. They said that they liked the tool profiles defined above the stock (lowest point of the profile at 0 y axis) and in the center of the profile (0 x axis). I think the main reason for this is so the profile could be used on a center lin...

Re: Problem with holes showing up
I too have had problems with this since build 2. I just installed build 3 and still can't get the hole patterns to take on a face frame cabinet. The pattern is there and shows to go into the sides when viewing the hole patterns. But there are no holes in the cabinet. Funny thing is I can load up som...

Re: v.6 error message
I got a Windows Install error when I first tried to install eCabnets 6 also. I decided my file was corrupted on the download somehow and downloaded it again. I didn't have any problems the second time.

Re: eCabinets and the Intel i7 processors
Thanks for all the links and help Dan. I think I could set up a dual boot but I have read about one other problem that might come up. Some programs that I might install into the XP system might try to write files to the C: drive where Vista will be. I am not to sure what to do about that. One more t...

Re: eCabinets and the Intel i7 processors
Yes Joe you are probably right about that. But I know how I am. The new one will be like candy for a while. It will be hard to pull myself away to use the old one that was really never that good for eCabinets. I just had a fair video card that made it work.

Re: eCabinets and the Intel i7 processors
Yes I have read that if I install XP to a system with Vista aready present that I will have to fix the bootloader to get Vista to work again. I have read that it is easy to install Vista after XP but not crazy about about removing Vista to do that. I will wait an try things out before diving into to...

eCabinets and the Intel i7 processors
I just ordered a computer that has an Intel Core i7 920 cpu with DDR3 memory and Vista 64 bit home premium OS. Now I know that the OS is not going to work out. But here is my question? It will have two Sata-II drives and was considering installing XP Pro 32 bit on one to make a duel boot system or j...

Re: all guitar players past and present
Hey Al I guess I am a guitar player but I don't play much any more. It seems like everytime I get a guitar I end up giving it to one of my kids. It just seems like they would get more use from it than I do. But I used to be a lead guitarist in a rock band in the 70's and you couldn't get that thing ...

Re: Over width back
I am not sure if this is your problem but you can get the back to nest the other direction by changing the grain direction. If this is not your problem them you might want to define a larger material for your back. Of course cutting such a piece could be a problem.

Great work Kerry. You always amaze and go the extra mile. I really like the open doors showing the lazy susans, spice racks and roll out shelves.

Looks like Microsoft may push Vista out and move on to Windows 7 soon.

I think I read that it will not use as much memory to run either (1 gig maybe).

Too much time on our hands-Clamp Cabinet
We have had a lot of extra time so we made this cabinet to hold our clamps. We put wheels on it so we could roll it around from place to place. I think that our boss Geron Stricklin was a little tired of going all over the shop to find a clamp. Anyway here is a useful CNC creation.

Dental Crown Molding
I needed to display some dental crown molding for a picture of a cabinet and came up with this way of modifing a normal crown molding using the part editor to make the dental blocks and pushing it into the face of the crown molding.
Just thought someone else might want to give it a try.
