Shelf Holes

Kirt, If you go to the Cabinet Assembly Editor, and then go to the Shelf Partition Editor and delete the original shelf and add a new adjustable shelf the holes will show on the new end panel. Make note of the original spacing for the shelf that was in the original cabinet. Try it and see if works f...

Imported jpegs to Materials/User defined folder

Can anyone tell me why an improrted jpeg appears rotated when it is applied to display part. I know I can scale and rotate the material in the DPE, but it does not line up well. Is there a work around to get a better end result.

Thanks,

Hey Leo, Here is the same result using eCabs only. You have to use several three point arcs but, you get the same results. I originally use used a .dxf file. I have used Autocad and other programs since I used to design industrial equip. and it was easier for me just to use a .dxf file. However, eCa...

Hey Leo,
You can create this using a dxf file. The dxf. file geometry must not be splines. Here I used an ellipse to creat this representation of what you want. I loaded the file in the part editor/contour.

Hey Don,

When you have the file open, right click in the room and select texture options, wall/floor, set all walls to default or set floor to default whichever one you need or both. Hope this helps.

Hey Ted,

I toyed with the idea of using a cabinet with a display board substituted as the back. Just for kicks I would like to improve on this. By the way Kerry is the man. He has a lot of tricks at his disposal, so take note of what he has to say.

Hey Christopher, What you are seeing is a display object I created in a separate 3D modeling program and converted it to an .stl file that eCabs will open in the Display Part Editor. In the DPE I added a material and saved in as an .hsf file that i used in the Cabinet/Assembly editor. I was trying t...
