I think I may have found the answer from Justin at Thermwood. The parts that I brought into the parts editor were display boards. Apparently the display board won't re-appear in the parts editor, with the performed cut-thru's, if the cabinet was saved and re-opened at a later time in the cab editor....

Part editor

Has anyone experienced a problem where you took a display boared into part editor and modified in using cut-thru and returned to the cab editor with the changes? The problem I'm having is that the part displays properly in cab editor but when taken back to the part editor the modification is no long...

Mike, That was really impressive. My brain started to perspire when I followed your explanation of how you made the tapered leg. I need to get where you are at with the part editor. I agree that this software is awesome. Can't see how you can do without it after using it. Still, seems like an obviou...

Thanks Mike and Mark, To follow up on this question I noticed that the candlestick created by the tool chain, in Pauls tool demo, was rotatong around the \"Z\" axis. Is there any way to bisect the \"Z\" axis with another cut? I guess what I should hope for is a more \"Sketch...

Parts editor Limitation?

Hi all, I was wondering if there is any way to take a part into the part editor and edit the part on more than the front and back view? Say you had a big ol' block of wood and you wanted to pierce and create tool paths on the side of the part as well as the top and bottom. All I can figure is that y...

The crooked walls seems odd to me. I noticed that they were jagged in the detail room editor display on the left hand side of the room. I went to the wall editor to check their angles and they were all reading perpendicular or parallel to one another. I'm tring to figure out what created the walls r...

Hi Rick, The 'standar dimensions' settings were set to the right dimensions, though that is a logical place to start. In fact I put all the fields relating to appliances, walls and cabinets to zero for troubleshooting. Here's what I'm getting: If I start by resizing a fridge to the dimensions of 36\...

Hi everybody, I'm trying to get a room put together to pitch to a client in a couple of days and I'm having a sorry time with it. The problem is in the room detail editor. It's when I try to load a refrigerator in a corner of the room and it has been resized that the problems start happenning. For s...
