ver6 Changing Cabinet Features from room View
Had my knickers in a twist. So I post this just in case other members have been having the same question. At first it looked like v6 no longer had the feature for changing all doors or dwrs, etc from Room view. It had disappeared from the drop down menu. It has just moved! When selecting a single ...

Re: Version 6
Well, here I am replying to my own post. Appliances are not lost. If the "up" or "back" buttons don't work, then try the "home" button to the left to restore the Appliance Tree.

Version 6
It would appear that the fresh load of v.6 has eliminated all my appliances. Anyone else with this issue?

Re: ecabs has only 9 days left
Yeah, I was surprised by the same message today when I booted up. I'm going on vacation for two weeks. Sure do hope I can work on several projects when I get back. Perhaps when congress reconvenes in December Thermwood can get a big chunk of the bailout package. I can't honestly think of a company ...

Hey Kerry
I sympathize with you on the problem with fee for design. I just spent two days designing a huge custom island for a \"friend\". I was going to charge $6900 plus granite top (design time included). I am about an hour above NYC and I thought I was giving them a great deal. Well, the client ...

Quadro FX 1000 Update
Well I gotta tell ya...I just did my first rendering with my new (used) Quadro FX 1000. Talk about smokin! Rendring must be improved by a factor of 2000%. As the line descended down the screen it hardly even slowed down for the Classic Brass pulls.

Just upgraded my computer
Dan Epps recently posted regarding computer configurations for running eCabs. For a long time I have suspected that many, though not all, of the problems we members are having with \"bugs\" are more related to not having the right machine for the job or not having it configured properly. (How many ...

Always Something New to Learn
It never ceases to amaze me. I get stuck in one way of doing things and then discover another way to use this wonderful program even more efficiently.
I do a lot of custom built-ins; very fussy, lots of cabinet depth variation, varied height, scribes, etc. I was building each cabinet and trying to ...

Coffee in Texas Panhandle
Hey Kerry
Speaking of coffee...I just got back from a cross country car trip. I was driving to CA with my son. He just got a job with Panasonic writing computer code for In Flight Entertainment for 1st class airline passengers. He's making three times more than I ever have making sawdust and he ...

Hey Rick
Yes, only the doors on 45 degree angles are functional. All the doors on these \"corner units\" were added as display objects. The cab on the left side has most of its apparent storage space occupied by that darned chimney. On the right side, the storage space is deeper but stops about 12 ...

Thanks for the praise, guys. Now I feel like fessin' up that I might be stealing someone else's thunder. The aspect of custom one-off projects that I find the most challanging is D-E-S-I-G-N. I had a LOT of help with this design from my good friend in Florida who is fine-artist/designer/architect ...

Family Room Wall Unit
Finished this last spring but just got around to taking photos. Good thing I am a better cabinet maker than I am a photographer. In the \"before\" pic you can see the huge ugly back of the fireplace that had to be worked around. Thanks to eCab it was possible to size every thing perfectly and double ...
