Re: Lock

That was the first thing I tried. It said I didn't have an internet connection even though I did.

Re: Lock

I guess I never looked at it from a multi user aspect. Since I'm the only one who uses it.

I can see use for the width more than anything. Mostly to limit the door size.

Still waiting for the opening lock.....

Lock

OK, I see the little lock symbol on the right side of the dimension area in the cabinet editor.

Can someone tell me what this is for? Well, I think I know it's for, but that would be pretty much of no use. Or if it has a use can someone tell me how to use this properly.

Thanks.

Re: Drawer Box Clamp?

You didn't mention if you were doing dovetails or not. But if you are just make them a little tight and they are self clamping. If not, squeeze clamps are nice and quick.

Re: Anyway to interrupt and stop the nesting process

If that happens with me I kill the program and start it over. A lot of times it's just quicker. Make sure everything is saved before you do this. I learned the hard way. :(

DXFs and polylines

Hey there. I know you can't use splines in eCabs. So I was trying polylines (AutoCAD 2003) and I am running into problems, it won't highlight when I try to make a part out of it. I am trying to make a curved wall desk. And I was hoping I could make a representative to what I am building. One of my d...

Re: Hey, you know what would be cool?

Was just thinking you could highlight the individual pc on the nest and then just drag it to a different place or a different sheet.

Hey, you know what would be cool?

If we could move the pcs on the nests to rearrange things in case we have defects that need to be worked around. Or sometimes the nest comes up a little weird and it adds a sheet to stick a part on it that will clearly fit on another sheet.

Just thinking out loud.

Tiled/Streched settings on plywood and doors

I am getting a very distinct patter on my plywood and sometimes on my doors from the different species of wood. It doesn't seem to matter which species or color I use it is really apparent.

Is there any setting to minimize this effect? On this one it almost looks like tongue and groove boards.

The lock icon

OK, I see it in the new version. What's its use? Obvious it will lock a dimension on a cabinet, but why? I saw it and though maybe we got the opening size lock for the drawer height problem. What can I use this for?

Dovetail drawer

Anybody care to show a picture of a dovetail drawer made by the Thermwood CNC? A few pics of the joints assembled and unassembled would be nice to look at.

Thanks.

Oh, I knew that part. I take them apart in there to get down to the FF so I can print that out.

Oh, well.....I guess that's another thing on the wish list
