Exporting Harware definitions to excel?

Is there a way to get all the hardware info you have set up in Define Hardware into excel tables? Also some "minor" detail but is there a way to re arrange the order of the tabs for hardware i.e. categories, manufacturers, distributors, search, hinges etc.. ? Some of the legacy categories,...

Buy List

Leo, did you get it to work? I am having the same problem. Tried all the ways you did and believe it or not it's the Tandem slides I am having the most problems with getting an image to stick. It just won't stick. Yet some RTA/KD fastener and Tandem locking device seem to stick. Frustrating On anoth...

Drawer Box Hardware Association

Hi, I have some RTA cabinets with a standard RTA drawer box I use. Drawer box is always Maple in color and I use the Hafele Maple color RTA rafix. What I am trying to do is find out, quickly, how many RTA rafix connectors I need for drawer boxes (Maple) and how many I need for my cabinets (other col...

Re: Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

Thanks Daniel. I get the concept. I guess you would just need to make sure that the left most cabinet fronts are being cut from the left most side of the sheet material OR vice versa for right most cabinet. Is that the way it would cut from a sheet anyway? Thanks Rick. Pardon my ignorance. TWD? If t...

Re: Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

Ouch. I figured there would be some work around for this without taking manual cutting approach. Would it work if you could afford to lose 1/2"+ between the cuts? The material I was intending for this would be 3/4 TFM and thought this would be a nice design feature to add. This feature would be...

Re: Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

Forgot to ask. How would this affect, if at all, pull hole borings or any other additional part editor cuts on the dr/dwr fronts?

Re: Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

Thanks Brad for the response and PDF. I don't have, at the machine CNC experience, but obviously an experienced machine operator would undersatnd this better. In short though I understand the concept and that you say it can be done. I have attached a jpg as an example of the cabinets I am trying to ...

Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

I was wonderering if this is possible. I know the Group Parts feature seems to want to do this for a single selected cabinet. Lets say I have a base section of cabinets all of which the dr/dwr front grain runs 90 or horizontally. And I know the cabinets in this elevation are within an 8' length. Sin...

Export Capabilities

Greetings, I would like to know the full list of what spreadsheet or database tables we have access to within eCab. I am only familiar with the CutList export to excell. I am trying to automate things more and want to use the data that already is in eCab to help. For instance, if I know I drill x # ...

Re: Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

Thanks for the clarification Scott, As a work around, I thought I would try and import a shape (with splines) into the part editor/contour mode to see if spline trimming and line extension might work in there. When I imported the shape onto a part the splines did not come with the import. I guess th...

Re: Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

The trim and fillet tool does not seem to work on a spline also. Seems like the only thing you can do is to draw a spline.

Re: Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

Thanks Rick, good news/bad news I guess. I think I read this was a bug and fixed on a much earlier version. Seems like it should work though. I guess we should notify the Thermwood team.

Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

When in Shape Manager and selecting an Arc drawn with Spline, the offset and line extend functions are not working. No problem with others like lines and circles? Also cursor popup info cloud in offset window indicates numbers like 6054 rather than info like "hit OK" I am running V6 build ...
