Re: Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

Forgot to ask. How would this affect, if at all, pull hole borings or any other additional part editor cuts on the dr/dwr fronts?

Re: Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

Thanks Brad for the response and PDF. I don't have, at the machine CNC experience, but obviously an experienced machine operator would undersatnd this better. In short though I understand the concept and that you say it can be done. I have attached a jpg as an example of the cabinets I am trying to ...

Grain Match on multiple adjacent cabinets?

I was wonderering if this is possible. I know the Group Parts feature seems to want to do this for a single selected cabinet. Lets say I have a base section of cabinets all of which the dr/dwr front grain runs 90 or horizontally. And I know the cabinets in this elevation are within an 8' length. Sin...

Export Capabilities

Greetings, I would like to know the full list of what spreadsheet or database tables we have access to within eCab. I am only familiar with the CutList export to excell. I am trying to automate things more and want to use the data that already is in eCab to help. For instance, if I know I drill x # ...

Re: Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

Thanks for the clarification Scott, As a work around, I thought I would try and import a shape (with splines) into the part editor/contour mode to see if spline trimming and line extension might work in there. When I imported the shape onto a part the splines did not come with the import. I guess th...

Re: Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

The trim and fillet tool does not seem to work on a spline also. Seems like the only thing you can do is to draw a spline.

Re: Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

Thanks Rick, good news/bad news I guess. I think I read this was a bug and fixed on a much earlier version. Seems like it should work though. I guess we should notify the Thermwood team.

Shape Manager offset copy/move not working on Arc

When in Shape Manager and selecting an Arc drawn with Spline, the offset and line extend functions are not working. No problem with others like lines and circles? Also cursor popup info cloud in offset window indicates numbers like 6054 rather than info like "hit OK" I am running V6 build ...

Re: A/V Lowboy Prototrpe

Hi Jeremy and Kerry, Thanks for the kudos. Coming from senior master members like yourselves make your comments especially sweet! If anyone could use any of 3D files for speakers (tweeter, midrange, woofer), amplifier unit, speaker post, fan grille or a flat screen TV wall mount bracket (not ...

Re: A/V Lowboy Prototrpe

Hi John from down under, Thanks. I'd love to see one of your cabinets that you say sells. Maybe you could post a picture of one. For those who do purchase these from you, is this a high end purchaser? What do you think are the key reasons that your customers buy this from you? All the components (sp...

Re: A/V Lowboy Prototype

Hey Rick, Thanks. When I sat down to design this I did think there could be a market for it, small but maybe enough to make a few bucks. Being an observer of the A/V marketplace it seemed that loudspeaker manufacturers were spending a lot of money on their enclosure designs to differentiate themselv...

Re: A/V Lowboy Prototrpe

Hey Dan, Yeah definitely a retro concept. You might be right about possible future sales but I just don't have the slack (time and money) right now to get over the threshold of actually building it. I do have a store nearby in mind and I see some of the wives in there, so I guess that passes that te...

A/V Lowboy Prototrpe

It's pretty amazing what you can do with eCab. Everything was designed in eCab. This is a prototype design of a A/V furniture unit with integral sound system that I would like to build some day. I really like the idea of no external speakers with wire and decor matching problems. Probably have high ...
