Re: "User Part Name" + " MDF Slab front" ?'s

Thanks Justin,

I did not realize that I was resaving the cabinet (which was really an assembly) as a cabinet instead of assembly. That's why when I reloaded the assembly nothing had changed. Got it now

I will try the 0 thickness edgebanding, that seems like it will work.

"User Part Name" + " MDF Slab front" ?'s

I have a few questions I am hoping to get some help with. I am using the Change User Part Name function for the first time. My goal would be to want the new part name to appear on a cut list and also the nested sheet page as well. I highlight a part (Left End) while in cabinet editor and right click...

Re: What Would You Like to See in Design Sharing?

Hey Kerry, Happy New Year. Well I guess we're back to square one in Defining the Problem. Even-though, as you point out, it's a simple matter to submit designs and can be a lucrative effort in doing so, still something is preventing the program to be more successful. Is it a lack of awareness? Maybe...

Re: What Would You Like to See in Design Sharing?

When I wrote my last post, I realized afterwards that I was confusing "Design Sharing" with "Furniture Network". My post was more geared to the Furniture Network and how that seems to lack momentum. Don't know which would be most beneficial to users, a successful Design Sharing p...

Re: What Would You Like to See in Design Sharing?

I have noticed also that the Design Sharing program has seemed to languish. And I have continually thought in depth about how Thermwood, eCabinet Systems and this Network could enhance the capabilities of its members to be more profitable. Among other things, this would include a greater participati...

Mike,

I did try bringing in a duplicate cab then deleting the parts, but it would remove the dado joints for the fixed shelves when those were deleted. I guess i will have to go the DP route. Trying to save some time. Thanks for your help

Problems copying cabinet part

I am trying to copy a back panel to a standard cabinet that has some fixed shelves full dado'ed into it and I want to copy the back panel and paste into the main editor. I highlight the part, hit Ctrl-C, then Ctrl-V, nothing happens. Can a part like this be copied and pasted? Am I doing something in...

OK Dan, Thanks

not sure where my My Jobs folder went to, but I guess it doesn't really matter at this point.

It's very interesting. If I go to the Back Up/Restore settings window it does list that my back up directory should go into a My Jobs folder. But believe it or not that folder does not exist eventhough I have made several back ups. When I started to use the program though I was asked to where I want...

sorry Kerry, I did not catch your last reply before I sent my last. That file is only 25KB now, and again everything is blank, no walls, floor, menu's etc. hence the small file. I will try to attach it, I have not done that before.

I just don't understand how I was able to overwrite that job, especially since the original problem was that I could not access it. Now the job is still listed in the Jobs folder but when I select it, just a blank screen (no left side task menu, no layout) eventhough it indicates the job is open? I ...

Hi Kerry, thanks for the input. OK I have found that directory. Problem is, eventhough I have \"jobs\" checked off for items to be included when doing a back up, the \"jobs\" folder is not listed. Also when I do enter into my problem job through custom layout, why is the screen b...
