The cabinet in the middle is 16\" deep. The two lower drawers in the middle base cabinet is a tilt out hamper to look like drawers.

Thanks George. The room is 14' x 18'
I still struggle to get the lighting right. When I try to get the island lighter the rest of the cabinets wash out. Then I get shadows that dont natural. I guess I need to practice some more.
