Re: Frameless cabinet drawer slide installation

While in cabinet editor click the "Drawer Slides" tab and under the drawer slide selection there is a "Hole Pattern" drop down. Select "clear default" and it will remove it from the cabinet.

Re: constraint deletes hole

Marcel, my drawers are done this way too. Its possible you may have a graphics issue. If you rebuild the drawer after making the constraints does the hole show up?

Ian is correct too that it should be w/2.

Re: thermwood desktop ctr nesting scroll issue

Clint, I'm on 10. It's not a big pain but it was nice to just scroll without regard for where the mouse is.

Re: the new manual part placement feature

Clint, here are a couple other things I found with manual nesting. Once I started using the rotate option, whenever I clicked on the next part it rotated about 10 degrees on its own even if the rotate button was set back at 0. It would also be good if the rotate slider automatically goes back to 0 w...

Rachelle, it looks like there are undercuts on the big radius's too. Sometimes the software doesn't like undercuts.

Re: thermwood desktop ctr nesting scroll issue

Thomas, that is correct. One of the updates broke or removed that ability. Now you have to mouse over the sheet text block to scroll through the sheets. Maybe the loss of it was unintentional and they will fix it.

Re: Keep Item box open while in batch

Hi Scott, I'm referring to the little popup box when you select a cabinet that you enter quantities and sizes. Once you click Add, the box goes away. It would be nice if it just stayed open allowing you to change say the quantity and width over and over again. I figure they can add a check box to &q...

Keep Item box open while in batch

It would be of benefit sometimes while adding items in batch if we had a check box to keep the item box open after adding said item. If we had multiple sizes of the same item we wouldn't have to re-select. This would come in handy for me when adding dovetail drawers that are the same height and dept...

Re: edging info missing on labels!

Update your graphics card drivers. That happens sometimes after a windows update so maybe it'll fix your issues.

Re: Dust shroud/skirt alternatives

Also use a non-mortised tool so you have a longer upshear. With a 2 flute 3/8" comp tool turning 18k rpm you should be cutting at least 650ipm. This will make bigger chips that don't pack up as bad. You can also skin everything and then make a final pass. This will help remove all the dust but ...

Re: Breakaway head sensor?

Sometimes the plug on the front of the motor can get loose and cause it to do that. There is a little screw that holds it in place but doesn't necessarily keep it tight or from getting dust in it too.
