Re: Radius Compensation

You may be able to move a few lines down and start from there. It might be that it leaves a little geometry to clean up by hand but that is better than not getting the job done. Can you post the file you are trying to cut?

Re: Profile Modeler MDF door corners

What is your largest tool diameter? I would rough with something like a 3/8" end mill and finish with a 1/4" ballnose then cleanup with the 1/8". Also check your mdf door design and make sure the "miter corner" box is checked.

Re: part editor

Chris, I'm not sure I've had that problem before but sometimes weird stuff happens that is hard to explain. Glad you got it fixed.

Re: part editor

Make sure you are not using a material with grain. Also in Control nest set the part rotation to something like 5 degrees or smaller. This allows it to rotate the parts until it fits them into a sheet.

Banding not calculating

Loading slab doors with banding in the batch area doesn't calculate properly for multiples.

Re: Tenon cleanup

Depending on the thickness of your material if you use a mortised compression bit with a shorter upshear it will help as long as the upcut portion is below the pocketed surface.

Global change of faceframe construction

I haven't tried this before now but is there any way to change the face frames from butt joint to mortised globally? I tried within the global mod section and it seems as if the settings are only there to tweak what already exist.

Re: Problem Making Arched Rail in Part Editor

Did you try the "create part" method also?

Re: Problem Making Arched Rail in Part Editor

Your creating 2 pockets and removing. Why not draw the shape and select "create part" as 1 operation?

Flip ops first problem

I think that control nest is not compensating properly for the amount it trims off the sheet. In my case .05" and the parts with tenon cuts as a flip are not lining up with the outline cutter by that amount. I haven't test on my end yet but thought that it may be known already. I'm going to run...

Windows 10 print batch list crashing

This just started happening today in batch area. I printed yesterday with no problems. It says the ecabinets system application has stopped working and then shuts down.

Re: Problems with 6.1

I just encountered the same issue with a cabinet that I've used for a couple years with no issues. It does seem to nest okay though.

Also I got the warning when I output the twd not when it loaded in control nest.
