Re: Double door reveals

YES! I knew there was a way I used to do it. Thanks Kerry.

Re: Double door reveals

Carmen, Thanks for catching that. It used to not function that way so I didn't even look at it this time. I'll ask the programmers about it.

Re: Double door reveals

Chris, after you add the doors click on (highlight) the one you want to change. Go into construction settings and make your change for the hinge side. Understand that if you ever delete the doors and add them back it will use this new setting for both sides.

Re: plywood not cleaning up on blind dado's

Set up a larger tool to do dados and you can even choose a single pass cut when it machines the tenons to thickness.

Re: control upgrade

I've only installed it on my desktop. I haven't installed an update on my machine for about 3 years.

Re: control upgrade

The software is the latest super control version that has a setting for gcode output depending on what controller is on your router. My router is 14 years old and still running W2k and while its painfully slow nesting and writing code it runs the code just fine. I do keep up with the CN versions mai...

Re: control upgrade

Dave, not to take anything away from the new controllers but a much cheaper and some may argue better option is to get the desktop version of control nesting. I think it still cost around $1k and has a small annual maintenance fee. That way you can nest other jobs while your router is running too. F...

Re: System Crashes in Door/Drawer Editor

Travis, try taking the cabinet into faceframe editor. It will remove the doors and add frames. After that go back to the main screen and turn the frames off. This might allow you to go into the door editor and reselect new fronts.

Re: Line Drawing Editor MAJOR PROBLEM

Thomas, see if your graphics card is up to date. Also, if you can zip your job file and post it so we can use it to try and get the same results. If you don't want it on the public forum you can email it to me through my user info.

Re: Line Drawing Editor MAJOR PROBLEM

I'm not sure I understand your workflow but I'm not seeing an issue. Are you trying to only use jpg's for a reason? If you print to pdf or make a jpeg and attach it to an email it works without issue on my end.

Re: Machining 12' sheets on 8' router

Really depends on a few things. What software are you using? Is it a moving gantry? Are there any tool holders at the end of the table?

On a side note, all of the standard patterns included in the software are 3mm deep. You will have to edit whichever ones you intend on using.

Re: Radius Compensation

You may be able to move a few lines down and start from there. It might be that it leaves a little geometry to clean up by hand but that is better than not getting the job done. Can you post the file you are trying to cut?

Re: Profile Modeler MDF door corners

What is your largest tool diameter? I would rough with something like a 3/8" end mill and finish with a 1/4" ballnose then cleanup with the 1/8". Also check your mdf door design and make sure the "miter corner" box is checked.

Chris, I'm not sure I've had that problem before but sometimes weird stuff happens that is hard to explain. Glad you got it fixed.
