Scott,

I have to close down everytime. I tried just going to batch then back (still there). Tried going into batch and loading a cab then going to nest. The ghost cab shows in nest screen as well. Justin at Thermwood told me to update my graphics card. I'm doing that now. Will report back.

Scot,

I have already passed this along to the programmers but one other thing that I've noticed is that the cab actually does save with changes but when you try to delete and load new cab the old will not dissapear. Is this happening to you as well?

Vince,

I had something similar to this once where my hardware patterns were replacing my customers patterns. When they sent me the file and I would open and look at a cab default, it would replace there hole pattern with mine. Same hardware different patterns. I don't know why and could never ...

Guys,

Thermwood is working on the Vista issue to hopefully come up to date quickly. The major problems that I've heard from IT guys are printer related in general. One thing I've noticed is ghost cabs are more common than ever. My icon also will not change to 5.1 and had to be renamed manualy ...

As David suggest conventional cutting will leave more and more fuzz as the bit loses its edge. While the downside to cutting conv. is when the bit leaves an lipped edge on skinned parts. Hopefully Thermwood will help us resolve this issue by allowing a roughing pass or multi directional outline cuts ...

Mark,

It should not let you NC reset when this occurs. However my operater has hit the home key on the handheld which is a system overide. There is something so wrong with the feeling you get when you snap that first arm off. The second one doesn't hurt as bad.

Eric,

Make sure the tapers on ...

Leo,

I to have been getting the OOM error but only on files created in 5.0 and only when making to many changes before saving. I beleive this is an issue with not saving often enough. Try going back and changing maybe 3 cabs and then saving.

Ted,

Try taking the cab back into shelf editor and left click on the shelf to highlight green. Then go to construction settings and if everything is just so then hit OK. To make changes to existing shelves or partitions you have to highlight them and be in the respective editor. Hope this helps ...

Bill,

If you emailed the file then you may need to zip it. Ocasionaly bad files have something to do with the email provider and may need to be sent again. You can also try posting the file in a private message on this site and sending it to him.

George,

If you need maple ply I can get 48.5 x 96.5 if that will help. If you set your nesting collar at 0 you should get 48 wide to nest.

Where in SC are you? Maybe a member is close enough you can load from there disk until your's arrives. You will need your own registration code which you have in V4.

Paul,

Just build the desk the way you want every joint to fit and then globally choose rta construction. You may need to go back and change some sides that the fittings are applied to but its a good starting point. You may also want to apply other types of jointery to some specific parts.
