Mike, You should be getting clean cuts with any of the 3 if everything is setup correctly. As far as tool life that will vary but for the most part mdf will dull a carbide tool sooner than Mel. or ply which will dull at about the same rate. Mel. is going to where the bit in 1 spot where it cuts the ...

tooling errors
Hey Guys,
I'm getting tooling errors when nesting this job. Its saying cannot use the .47 tool for rout operation. It should use this for some 30mm pockets in the bottom of the deck. Any ideas?

Guys, Very sorry to start a conversation and leave you hanging. I do not have a drill bank and this is something that has been around for a while. It will drill 4 of the 5 holes in all the patterns and then come back and drill the fifth hole in all the patterns. Not a big deal just a little annoying...

skiping holes
Hey Guys,
This is nothing new but just wondering if its being fixed. When I run parts with shelf holes the router bores 4 holes of five for all the patterns then comes back and bores the last hole in all the sets. I'm on 4.94 RN.

Hey Guys, Just a little tip for mdf doors. If you have fuzzing after using your bits for a while you can use wood glue mixed 50% with water and apply with a brush or spray then sand after 30 minutes. This actually seals the cut surface very well and allows for the first coat of undercoater to go on ...

Hey Joe, I do cut alot of doors for myself and others. I am currently using Cabinet Vision for this but have looked into Panelmatrix as well. With CV you can produce a door and then batch any size so it is fairly proficiant. I hope it will be this easy in Ecabs. I am mainly concerned that if I have ...

Brian, What are you using for tooling and how do you set up your tool sets for mdf in the modeler? Ranger board is good quality but you need to ask for high IB or high grade internal bond. This product is superior to cheaper mdf's. Also when you tool up for production and you want to buy pcd (diamon...
