Machine Sheets Face Down
When I nest a sheet of slab door and drawer fronts, every part is treated as a filp op, as they all have machining on the backside (only). Is there any way that I could configure things, so that I could set the sheet of material on the machine, face down, and have all the operations performed with t...

Re: Ease of Doing Curved Units?
Thanks very much for the replies. Where I don't need to do any type of rendering, I think what I may do, is to create each of the pieces as a separate item that I can call up as a batch. I need to look into creating curved parts, which I haven't done very much of yet, to see if it makes any sense to...

Re: Ease of Doing Curved Units?
How would you handle something like the studs in the wall, which normally have a number of different cuts in them for wiring toekick etc? Is there a way to duplicate a part like this once you've created all the PE cuts in one? I imagine it could also be treated as a separte item and added in as a ba...

Ease of Doing Curved Units?
Occasionally I'll do curved recepetion desks. I'll typically draw the parts in BobCad, and generate the cut files from there. I can do this resonably quickly. As an alternative, could I modify a cabinet, or assembly in ECabinets, and use it for this purpose, or does that get too involved, and am I b...

Re: Losing PE Cuts When Changing Door Style?
Kerry, The doors and drawer fronts are all slab. I've created a library using .5mm edgeband on the doors, and need to replicate it using 3mm band on the door/df edges. I was hoping to be able to just change the doors style. Where the PE holes on these parts are referenced from the edge of the part (...

Thanks Kerry,
Hopefully at some point that will change, it does seem a little bit limiting.

Any Way to Speed Things Up?
It's taking several minutes, or more, for some of my cabinets to rebuild each time I make changes. On some of the more detailed cabinets the computer is 'Not Responding'. Any setting I can change to help things move a little quicker/better? I'm using a Dell Precison 490/Intel Xeon CPU/3GB RAM. Conne...

Base Cabinets Place Progressively Higher
Each time I move a base cabinet it places, what appears to be, the toekick height higher than its previous position. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Losing PE Cuts When Changing Door Style?
Dan,
It eliminates the holes for the pulls, and the drilling on the backside of the drawer fronts (for metal drawers). All of the holes are constrained, all disapppear

Sorry, I should have asked 'what is a face board/what area do I use to add it in' I haven't come across that yet. -Nat

Combining Misc Items with Drawing for Nesting Only
Just wondering what the easier way is, to combine odd/extra objects with a drawing (oversized toe pieces, fillers etc), to be nested along with it. I been drawing an extra wall the room and placing the objects on there, but would guess that there was a better way to do it? (Do a separate 'batch' and...
