Standardize multiple selections throughout the software

As I go thru eCabs, I find that when I want to select multiple things, how to do that varies in different areas of the software. For example, in the LDE, you don't have to use shift or ctrl with the left arrow click to select multiple parts. In other editors, you use shift+left button and others you...

Re: Just out of curiosity

Thanks Scott. Either that one didn't make it in, or I'm doing something wrong when I change the opening size for faceframe components. I click on the opening and then adjust the bottom and that's when I get the dialog box stating that doors and drawers will be removed to accommodate the changes. May...

Just out of curiosity

When I move a faceframe rail or stile, all the drawers/doors that touch that part are removed from the cabinet. Why is that? Can't they be resized when the faceframe openings are adjusted?

Just wondering.

Re: Nesting warning

Ok. I guess I used eCabs to much yesterday and it got really tired. Today I can edgeband the shelves in this cabinet and it nests just fine. I guess I will need to give eCabs a couple of coffee breaks and a lunch break during the day so it can rest.... :D :D I've attached the cabinet with the shelve...

Re: Nesting warning

Interesting development - the nesting problem occurs only if I add edge banding to the shelf. I did an experiment where I added edgebanding to 1 shelf and eCabs spit out an error on nesting that one shelf.

Re: Nesting warning

Tried to upload the cabinet and the forum won't let me. The file is 1.3MB in size. This seems very excessive for an upper cabinet that is 93" long x 9" deep x 40" tall. Not sure what gives. Anyone have suggestions on how to get the hsf file uploaded?

Nesting warning

I am nesting a kitchen project and for some reason, eCabs will not nest 8 adjustable shelves that measure 7.0025"W x 21.774"L. I'm not sure why the program would pick these shelves to not be able to nest. I have deleted and added them back in multiple times with the same results. I wish th...

Bug in batch editor??

It seems that when you start checking and unchecking cabinets in the batch editor, the scroll wheel on the mouse gets disabled. If you click anywhere, it will re-enable the mouse scroll wheel.

Seems to be constant, not intermittent.

Re: NEED TO HAVE AN AUTO SAVE FEATURE TO MINIMIZE LOST WORK

I do the same thing Scott. The problem is I have some large jobs that take a long time to save and if I add up the "click and wait time" it would be pretty significant. Click and wait time is already pretty significant.. I know what will happen. The program will crash and I will loose a l...
