Re: Can't print in version 6

Numerous complaints have been filed about this - you're not alone. The Thermwood people are aware of the problem and working on it as we speak.

I was able to create a jpeg, which I could then email or print. Never had the out of memory issue, but probably only because everything froze up first.

Re: Door sizes incorrect in Buy List

I totally empathise on the schedule - I'm usually wrong with my estimates. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing!

Thanks again - Jason

Re: Door sizes incorrect in Buy List

Groovy, thanks Ryan. And of course, the usual question - any idea when that next build is coming (or at least an update for the various weirdo things that are happening with this one, ie printing and rotating issues)?

Thanks much - Jason

Door sizes incorrect in Buy List

Hi - ordering some doors off my design, and realized that the Buy list is incorrect - it shows some cabinets having the same size doors. The Cut list is correct however - is this intentional for some reason? The doors are Alternate Source - Conestoga TW-10 White birch. I'll zip the job here. Thanks ...

Re: Not able to print to PDF

Josh, can you not create a jpeg from LDE? I'm still able to do that.

Re: Not able to print to PDF

BTW David and everyone else - it's still possible to take a JPG snapshot of the LDE image - the quality is pretty lame compared to a PDF, but it'll work.

Re: Not able to print to PDF

Hrmph - I hadn't tried printing to the printer yet - it's causing problems also. Same as printing to pdf - either incredibly slow or freezes entirely. I checked the print queue, it shows the print job as being 562MB - seems like a bit much for a print job....

Please. Help.

Not able to print to PDF

Hey - talk me off the ledge here, this is killing my livelihood! LDE has always had problems, just when one thing gets fixed another blows up. On v6b2, when I try to print to pdf (using adobe acrobat), one of two things happens: 1) it creates a lovely pdf, but it takes about 10 minutes - then when v...

Re: Problem placing cabinets in plan view

aaargh.... thanks for the reply Ryan, of course now I can't get it to happen. And I can't recall any particular unusual sequence of events that led up to it. So I'll have to get back to you, once I can get some better documentation. I can tell you the symptoms - placing a cabinet in plan view, an ad...

Re: Shift+Left Click doesn't work in V6/Win7 Custom Layout

Hi again Kerry - yah, I maxed performance up. Since going home yesterday and starting again today, it seems to be working. I expect it to seize up after I've been working on it for awhile.

Re: Objects disappear when zoomed in

Hey Kerry - thanks, I'll give that a shot. Of course it's intermittent, so I won't know for a while whether it worked or not.... Much like the other problems I'm having.

Cheers - Jason

Objects disappear when zoomed in

Another fun one - of course intermittent. When I zoom in on certain objects (can be cabinets, display panels, whatever), either plan view or wall elevation view, I get close and then the object will disappear. Everything around it looks fine, just that object disappears, until I zoom back out (using...

Cabinets not placing properly

Hi - I'm having a couple issues when I try to add cabinets in elevation view. Only started happening since upgrading to v6. Not sure if these are bugs, user error or known issues, figured I'd get some feedback. 1) When I place a cabinet, it will ignore the "Place mode" setting and attempt ...

Re: Shift+Left Click doesn't work in V6/Win7 Custom Layout

Hey folks - I just started experiencing this - utterly irritating. And yes, I feel sorry for the programmers too, I guess I feel sorrier for myself. It takes 4 days to finish drawings for a kitchen, very hard on the eyes. Has anyone seen any decent results, better fixes, etc? My Nvidia GeForce 6800 ...

Re: Problem placing cabinets in plan view

Hi - I realized I never got any feedback on this, and figured I'd throw it out there again - has anyone ever experienced this stuff?

Thanks - Jason
