I wanted to use a display panel for a door I took it to part editor and cut a pocket in it for a speaker. After taking a closer look at the doors they are sizing properly it is the profile that is giving the elusion of the extra gap

Are you cutting out your parts by hand if so you could change the corner gap to 0 and check miter 90 deg. Corner. This would give you plenty to cut the 45s you are after. Sorry guys I posted the last before actually giving it a try the display panel method will work without saving as an assembly but I will still have to apply any hardware holes manually

Thanks Rick that is what I will have to do but this method will not allow me to have the door actually on the cabinet without making it an assembly.
