Dan,
I am not really worried about the laptop, it is the Dell 380 that I want to get working. I will check the bios but it is only 6 months old.
Windows is up to date.

Just finished running registry fix. it didn't help.
The Display problem was that in the Line Drawing Editor when You try to place a note, the Cursor disappears. It still does that. It actually turns white against the yellow background instead of black. No one ever came up with a cause for that ...

Dan,
You seem to be correct. I can't save the job on my laptop or workstation but I have no problem adding multiple display objects and saving the job on my other desktop which has only 512 mb of ram and a lot of stuff running in the background. Now to find what the conflict is. Do you have any ...

I just tried saving the job with the coffered ceiling and that is a no go also.
I am trying to show the customer some of the architectural elements because they have some problems such as not enough room for wide door casings, the ceiling needs to be raised to do the coffers, the refrigerator is ...

Dan,
Attached is a column that I have been trying to add to the drawing. This is when everything seemed to go south.
I added the column then scaled it to 12 X 12X 96 tall and I couldn't move the column or save the file.

Thanks for the link Dan.
I don't think I'll mess with the registry. For a while on my laptop I was able to save by turning everything off that was running in the background including anti-virus. ( I wasn't connected to the internet.) and setting the appearance settings to performance. etc., but that ...

Out of Memory

I have e been working on a job this last week on my laptop and started getting an \"Out Of Memory\" error when I tried to save. I would have to close eCabinets without saving. After getting home today I transfered the job to my work station and if I make changes to the job I still get Out of Memory ...

Mike,
That is a very nice look. Showing graphically correct mid stiles and rails could get a bit time consuming though.

Dan,
I think you have it , but I think you would only do the haunch cut the depth of whatever bead detail you are using. That way it looks like you just added a beaded molding. The procedure would be the same though.

This would work for the guys needing cut lists for mortise and tenon joints also ...

You can even show the cuts graphically if you want to go to the trouble.

Dan, Gordon,
I just played with it a little and by adding a negative inset to your rails and midstiles etc. you can allow for the haunch cuts on your cutlists so Gordon yes I think eCabinets will do what you want.

Gordon,
You will have some difficulty with the haunch cuts in eCabinets also. All face frames are basically shown as a butt joint. There might be a way around it but I have never really looked into it. There is a mortise and tenon joint feature for face frames that has never been implemented that I ...
