Re: tenon % thickness VS. TWD thickness
The only problem I see with that Kerry, is when you change materials you would have to recalculate tenon thicknesses.
I never understood why full dado thickness is a static measurement and blind dado thickness is a percentage. To me it makes more sense to allow static or percentage thicknesses for ...

Re: Odd happenings with build 5
I usually do add slides as defaults but just added them to a cabinet that I had forgotten to set defaults on (I know, I know...I could've gone back and set the defaults but I didn't  ).
Of course I can't reproduce the 0-0-0 issue. I even rebooted yesterday and was able to reproduce it but ...

Re: Odd happenings with build 5
I just tried again, starting with a standard base framed. I removed the doors, drawer front, shelf, mid rail and mid stile. Then I set the default drawer box to Standard Drawer.hsf. Changed Construction Settings to add box with drawer front, rear inset 1"; top, bottom, left and right insets .5"; .5 ...

Re: Odd happenings with build 5
Here is the troublesome cabinet. I can recreate it every time by starting with a standard base framed.

Re: Odd happenings with build 5
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the slide count is correct when 3 copies of the cabinet are placed in a room and nested. This only occurs in batch.

Odd happenings with build 5
I first noticed that the number of slides for a batch job was incorrect and started experimenting. Here is what I found (notice the cabinet size issue as well):
1. Started with standard framed base.
2. Removed doors, mid rail and mid stile.
3. Set default drawer box.
4. Added 3 drawers with boxes ...

See above--one material gets a better yield in horizontal and the other in vertical. Yep, eCabinets nesting...no CNC here.JohnLashuay wrote:...Since you are posting this in the Ecab area I assume you want to see this in the nesting for Ecab. Can I ask why? Just curious!
