Re: Manual Nesting issues, etc...

I took 52 seconds to finished "calculating" but when I used version 6.06 it happened in a blink of an eye. so something is off I agree, just wanted to make sure if it wasn't able to calculate at all. Little details can make big differences. I'll get it listed for the software engineers to...

Re: Manual Nesting issues, etc...

If you give it some time sitting there does it calculate off fall then? Mine took just a touch over 30 seconds to do it (on desktop version), but off fall did calculate. If you click a few times while its thinking, the software will crash regardless. Regardless it appears as though something is off ...

Re: Part issues

Jacob, The hardest part about this is catching it in the act (so to speak). To know exactly what is going on we would need repeatability. Our best chance at that, we would need the CSV you loaded in, the DXFs, an export from Control Nesting, the CNC code itself, and if it is several sheet job, which...

Re: Write CNC stalls

Marcel, The desktop version is essentially the THM control for your office computer. In the long and short, you do everything on the office computer you would at the machine, right up to the point of pressing Cycle Start. Once you create the CNC code, you go to the machine, go to File and Open (or u...

Re: Manual Nesting issues, etc...

Tommy, Can you post an export from Control Nesting? Also is this on Desktop Version, or at the machine? Mine seems to be recalculating without issue so I want to see what settings you have set, job size, etc. I'll put your request in with the software engineers regarding the groups and Nesting Param...

Re: Trouble Opening Cabinets

We've been fighting some battles trying to get the User Data Path to play well with a cloud service. Most sync or lock files before eCabinets has a chance to finish doing what it needs to do.

Did you set the data path to the Google Drive location, or just syncing the cabinets folder only?

Re: .DXF FILE - T-SLOT CUTTER

I'm assuming you mean loading the DXF into Control Nesting? Just curious as the Customer Tools section of the forum is for tools being swept in Part Editor of eCabinets. If I am assuming correctly, I'll move the thread. Also if I am assuming correctly, to get Control Nesting to do what you want, you...

Can you be more specific about the steps you are taking to get it to crash? The more details the better.

Thanks Brad, I apprecate those words of encouragement and wonder how you hacked my computer cam. I do indeed need to go on a diet but easier said than done. I do need to keep on learning and thats the advantage of this forum. Looks like I cant get around changing the dimension line density so I wil...

Re: control nesting bug in software version override

Thomas,

This is because we didn't release sheet images being populated in Nested Base View until software version 7.4.1. So anything prior to that will not have the necessary information written to populate that correctly.

Re: .15 fit clearance mistake. Excess on cab interior ?

Tony, Fit and Depth Clearances are applied to the mortise. The fit clearance is divided by two and applied to the two sides of the mortise. So if you have a fit clearance of .01" and a mortise that is supposed to be .375" wide, it will now be .385" wide with .005" being taken off...
