Re: Error message

Please note that neither NASA, nor Tom Hanks have worked for Thermwood, therefore we cannot support their repair options. Do so at your own risk.

Re: graphing error

this is on the Thermwood desktop and the files were all put as read only I assume then at some point the macros got pulled from the machine and put on the desktop version? The majority of the macros will only need an M99 in them. The desktop version does not have a PLC so it doesn't work the same w...

Re: graphing error

that's the weird thing its not rewriting on startup. a lot of the macros were last refreshed February 17 and stayed that way for some reason For curiosity sake, this isn't on THM Desktop version is it? The macros that are dated for the 17th are most likely all ones that should be rewriting on start...

Re: graphing error

could anyone shed some light on what this error means? On line 10 of that macro there is invalid syntax. Go to your C drive in the macros and open that macro in notepad to see whats on line 10. Or you can Block Step Plus on that macro to open it up in THM. Looking here for your machine, it looks li...

Ah, I apologize, I'm used to going under View, Application View, and choosing Nested Base View. I'll pass the request on about the icon.

Re: THM Version 10

I accidently upgraded to version 10 with out realizing that it was a full version bump. is it possible to roll back? if not where can I direct feedback on the new UI? is there any possibility of getting a change log of whats new? also why did you remove the verify tooling icon and the return to nes...

Re: Warm up Program

Is that greese program any closer to being put up mike? Just stumbled upon this old thread, after reading about the warm up cycle some do daily for their machine. Does anyone have this program written that runs the spindle through the x/y extents? I ran the spindle warmup code posted here and it se...

Re: Q core update crashes on

David, Go to the C drive and verify there is a folder named toolgrp. Must be named exactly. If there isn't a folder by that name, create a folder and try it again. If it does exist, right click and make sure it isn't set to read only. So far the only way we could get it to fail was getting rid of th...

Re: Q core update crashes on

David or Thomas,

Did the update to 9.2.2 correct your issue? If not, can you get me exact steps you are doing so I can try to reproduce it here?

Re: another day another invaild character in the eia block

Thomas, With the latest version installed, most likely the PLC was replaced with the install. The hardest part is finding a repeatable situation. And as you said its difficult to replicate the issue. If you can (and I know it will be hard) keep track of steps in the back of your mind as you are doin...

Re: another day another invaild character in the eia block

Thomas, What version of THM are you on? First suggestion is to go to Control Options, Communications, and Check for Updates. Current version is 9.2.2. If you don't have internet connection at machine you can go here http://www.thermwood.com/updates_qcore.htm, download it onto a flash drive and move ...

Thomas,

Can you send me an export from Control Nesting? You can either post it here or email to cabinets@thermwood.com. Also I assume you do not have a piggyback drill?

Re: Q core update crashes on

David, First thing I would recommend, go to Control Options, Communications, and Check for Updates, current version is 9.2.2. Update and see if that corrects it. It may not, but it doesn't hurt to be up to date. Is it crashing as in THM crashes and shuts down, or does it give an error message on an ...
