I've never had this happen with other updates, any info would be helpful. Thanks error.jpg Try redownloading the installer, in the event the download was corrupted. Also make sure to right click and Run as Administrator on the downloaded file just to make sure it isn't permission related. Also, The...

Re: Roughing to skin
Stuart, This feature has been added in Control Nesting version 7.06 released today. There is a check box at the bottom of Roughing for this feature. With that box checked, the machine should cut down to the double pass skin leaving the cleanup on the part with the roughing tool, then cut the double ...

Re: Display Panel Part Name Batch List
Troy, Display panels behave differently than cabinets do, same for doors, drawers, and drawer boxes added by themselves to the Batch. You can have the name be the same by taking that display panel to the Cabinet Editor, select it, right click, and change the user part name. That will change the name...

Re: Rectangular Optimization bugs
I've noticed that the rectangular nest also overrides the keep flip ops together parameter. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but I noticed that the drawers for the job I first used the rectangular nesting on, ALL the sheets were flip ops, instead of ganging them all up for the first sheets....

Stuart,
There isn't a setting for what you are wanting to do. I'll put it in as a feature request for the software engineers.

Re: Rectangular Optimization bugs
I'm really loving the new Rectangular Optimization feature in CN. Here are two bugs I've discovered so far. 1. Does not obey Priorities. When assigning different priority levels to different parts in the nest, the old Next X and Nest Y options both obey the assigned priority. The Rectangular mode d...

Re: Settings for stretcher joints - lock tenon using screws
Gene, In the little I've done those look like good numbers to me. I wouldn't go any less on tenon inset from edge, once you get towards the 1/2" amount the overshoot for the mortise tends to blow out the edge. The measurements of course are dependent on tooling as the overshoot is a calculated ...

Re: 7.04 extra edgebanding images
Is there an example of the new edgebanding images, and are they dictated from ecabs? The information would not be available from a .dxf output from CabinetVision? The images are identical to what they are now, you just have the option to separate into four images with the matching material text. Wi...
