Re: Part editor cuts not printing

Mark and Greg,

It is a known issue (though I can't currently find the thread about it). We have it corrected for the next release. And before you ask, we are uncertain when the next release will be :) .

Re: rotating drawn lines in part editor

Chris, You should be drawing a line to mirror about half the angle you drew your geometry. For example, if you geometry is drawn at a 45 degree angle, your line to mirror about should be drawn at 22.5 degrees. However, Contour Mode doesn't seem to be cooperating with the decimal in the angle. The ve...

Re: Layers

In reference to Will's response, it may have been a while since you have used DXF layers, but we recently added a Pocketclamp layer. The Pocketclamp layer defines inner boundaries for the pocket layer. Using it will allow you to create letters such as "O", "P", etc. While I agree...

Re: Layers

Kim, Have you gone to this link yet http://www.thermwood.com/software_manuals_main.htm and looked at the Control Nesting (interactive) yet? If you go there, on the left will be the option for DXF. It not only explains what each layer name is, there is a tutorial. A layer will define an operation for...

Re: Door Editor

It happens to me occasionally as well. Typically, I'll just move my mouse around in the lower area where the option for Standard would appear and it comes to life.

Re: Part editor cuts with bottom inset on end

Mark,

We have seen this issue, and it will be corrected in the next release of eCabinets. The next release should be coming shortly, as there are other issues we need to correct. Thanks for letting us know though.

Re: Trouble loading version 6.1

Scott pointed you in the correct direction. Most likely you have Webroot antivirus. We are looking into why it does, but Webroot's algorithms thinks that because of what eCabinets is doing to install, that it is a virus and blocks one of the dlls. You can either shut down Webroot to allow eCabinets ...

Re: Link nesting issue

I replied to Tim in a email, but I will post the response to him here as well for other users: I'm not sure what happened from the first time it was ran until now, but it seems like there are four pockets added along that curve profile. See the attached pictures. In picture 1, I erased the curve cut...

Re: Link nesting issue

Tim,

Can you email an export of your settings to cabinets@thermwood.com? We are out of here for the weekend at 4:00PM CST, if you get it to me with a little time I'll take a look at it for you. If you have the .twd that you created send it as well.

Re: Version 6.1 What Do You Think?

Unfortunately, that's the downside to having an integrated graphics card. A new laptop with an integrated card can suffer the same graphics challenges. I assume your motherboard does not have a slot for a dedicated graphics card?

Re: Version 6.1 What Do You Think?

The crash reporter gathers a small amount of information related to the crash. Sometimes it can give us an indication of what is crashing, sometimes its a generic module failure that we can't relate to anything specifically. If you give us brief steps you took to get the crash and its something we c...

Re: A couple of issues I need to solve with this cab design

Carmen, You can use a stretcher to create your filler panels. You'll first need to set your face frames to be sheet stock. Add a top to bottom stretcher in a front back orientation. Change inset values to negative values to push it outside the cabinet internals. Then you can return to main and go to...

I agree with Terry. You can make it a little easier on yourself by left clicking and dragging the selection box in the open space around the room. After drawing the box, hit the delete key on the keyboard. Then check by hitting home on the keyboard to see if the room recenters.
