Re: Control upgrade

I sent an email to retrofits@thermwood.com on June 26th. Nearly a month later, and I haven't gotten any response. Is that email address no good? Just in case, I'm pasting the email in this post here. _______ Hello, I'm interested in getting a quote on upgrading the computer in our controller. The m...

Re: exporting

Jack,

I've never tried to email that way before. I've always found it easiest to go to my email provider (Yahoo), compose a new message, and choose the paper clip icon to attach the file.

Re: exporting

Jack,

Are you seeing this error message from your email provider? Usually there is something along the lines of Attachments or a picture of a paper clip to attach the file to the email. You can also set up a DropBox account for free and give him a link to download from.

Re: exporting

Jack, If it is a room layout or a batch job, both are .esj files. You just need to attach that .esj file to an email and send it. When he opens the .esj, it will have all the cabinets, materials, etc stored with it. If it is a single cabinet, you will need to find its location on the computer and se...

Re: Combing two custom room layouts into one CNC file

Don, Open eCabinets and click the blue CNC button on the top tool bar. Choose the Add Job(s) button on the right and choose your two esj files. You can then filter out specific cabinets or parts if you would like and change material thickness or dimensions from the Change Material Properties dialog....

Re: Improper Argument

I am trying to create a profile tool to more accurately represent the panel molding we use. We do not mill our own trim and I am a self taught eCabinet user so my problem may be simpler than it looks to me. I have made sure that my profile is a closed contour by trimming all intersecting lines and ...

Re: the new manual part placement feature

I just want to say thanks for the new feature in control nesting I'm sure I will get lots of use out of it. I found a few bugs and have ideas on how to make it a little bit better. when you add a new full empty sheet when you have more then one material it will only pick the first material nested a...

It is available in two places, Contour Mode of Part Editor, and Shape Manager.

Re: Added option to import DXF polylines as lines or as arcs (Enhanced)

I tried to use this option but the geometry is still imported as line segments. has anyone used this feature? Scott, If your geometry coming in is line segments, it won't convert them to arcs. There was an issue found that sometimes when bringing in a DXF, the reader for DXFs would break some arcs ...

Please note that neither NASA, nor Tom Hanks have worked for Thermwood, therefore we cannot support their repair options. Do so at your own risk.

Re: graphing error

this is on the Thermwood desktop and the files were all put as read only I assume then at some point the macros got pulled from the machine and put on the desktop version? The majority of the macros will only need an M99 in them. The desktop version does not have a PLC so it doesn't work the same w...

Re: graphing error

that's the weird thing its not rewriting on startup. a lot of the macros were last refreshed February 17 and stayed that way for some reason For curiosity sake, this isn't on THM Desktop version is it? The macros that are dated for the 17th are most likely all ones that should be rewriting on start...

Re: graphing error

could anyone shed some light on what this error means? On line 10 of that macro there is invalid syntax. Go to your C drive in the macros and open that macro in notepad to see whats on line 10. Or you can Block Step Plus on that macro to open it up in THM. Looking here for your machine, it looks li...
