Re: DXF file back operations

Daniel,

Yes, same concept applies. You will need to simply name the Layer name in which the backside operation exist by proceding layer name with word Back. An example of a 1/4" deep dado would be as follows:

back dado z0p25

Terry,

It sounds like the one arm is slightly out of alignment and needs adjustment. Please contact: service@thermwood.com for details on how to correct this.

Re: G07

You can contact our upgrade retrofit services by emailing:

service@thermwood.com
or
retrofits@thermwood.com

They will need to know the machine # (found on serial tag) to enable them to research what all will be necessary for the upgrade.

Re: G07

Stephen,

It may, you could start with a value of 30. Zero is OFF, 50 is default and typically highest recommended value. It will likely take a few test cuts on your part to see how the code will react specifically with the mechanics of your machine.

Re: Control Nesting V8

Yes, it is required that eCabinets be installed on the CNC control in order for Quick cut to work. To access the Quick cut screen, you will choose View, Application Views, Nested Based View from the menu system at upper left hand side of your control screen.

Jason,

You do not have to create a quote on each post, simply state your existing issues. Shortly after you post, you will have the option to view your post and choose EDIT at the upper righthand side of Thread.

Re: Tool safety zone with version 8

Matt, Thanks for the email updating me on your status since communications yesterday, just let us know if you need anything else. Resolution: "I shut the machine down last night. Then I blew out the electrical connector on the tool door and reseated the connector. It is running now."

Re: Tool safety zone with version 8

Matt,

I would like for you to check the following input status in your Maintenance Screen:

Input 23 should be OFF and Input 24 should be ON, Unless a toolchange is
in process. It seems that your machine thinks the toolchange door is
open.

Josh,

I do see the oversize dado on each side panel as you mention and will keep the files under review to determine if this is a bug.

Re: G07

Smoothing feature G Code is Present on THM V6.2.0.5+. The F value is an integer ranging from 0 to 100. The Smoothing feature will default to 50 (G07F50) upon control startup. In order to turn OFF the feature, you can write an F value of 0.

Re: Cleaning Questions

Scotch Brite pads are good for tool holders. This eliminates any residue leftover on holder to further collect debris.

Re: Write to CNC stuck! HELP!

This file contains the History for recutting parts. Prior to deleting the file, you can create an EXPORT, then send the EXPORT along with the HISTORY.mdb and HISTORY.sav to program@thermwood.com

This way I can submit to engineering for review, if it is this that fixes your issue.
