Re: Customizing Label Information

C:\Rolling Nest\Labels is where all the .rpt files should be saved on your controller. If you will send an email to program@thermwood.com, I will respond with files that should exist.

Re: Chain comp - Compensation Failure

Josh, I've taken a look at your dxf file and see that there are several acute angles which will cause tool comp to travel out in extreme to round that corner. In order to avoid the comp issue your seeing, you will need to go to all the acute corners and apply a very small radius (ie: .005" or s...

Re: Tool Replacement Reminder

John, The dia. specified does not matter. The control only looks for given T#. The individual who sets up the tool will have to understand how tool could be used and know if the tool is used in operations that have G41 or G42 for cutter comp., which ultimately look at dia. of tool when cutting and s...

Re: Bargstedt material handling system

Neville, I do not know much about the system you mention, however regarding communication to another device, you have the option on your Thermwood Control to monitor and activate/deactivate inputs and outputs within a part program. The following codes will allow such operation at given time in which...

Re: Tool Replacement Reminder

John, You will see a message in Place of Daylight that says Tool Expired. The other option you have with tool expiration is to put in a Substitute Tool Number (Upper Right Hand side of Tool Management screen) within Tool Management. Once a tool has expired and a toolchanges takes place, the Substitu...

Re: Flip sheet reference

That is clear. However, the only issue that I see with making changes to the offset method for Flip Op First, second side of sheet, is the unknown amt. of other current users would have become familier to the current method. Simply changing the CN software to post the Flip Op fence/fixture offset lo...

Re: Flip sheet reference

The more I think about this topic, I find room for question when considering to add another setting for Control Nesting... Are you wanting the nesting software to write a second offset per sheet when performing the secondary op? Or, are you simply requesting the ability to change the offset that is ...
