Re: Nesting Error
Nat, some time ago I think I may have had a very similar error. After some frustration I found that it was because I had the wrong tool for cutting a dado. It seems like maybe I was trying to cut a 1/4" dado with a 3/8" cutter, or something like that. I had to check each cabinet to figure ...

Re: Nesting discrepancy
Why would a control computer be giving better results? Does the program know or care about weather there's a USB cable connecting it to a machine? Basically, the question to my mind is that software is software correct? How would having a USB cable running to a machine give the program an advantage...

Re: Nesting discrepancy
Mine has always been that way too. Optimization at the control computer has always been better for me and it was always my understanding that was the norm.

Re: E Cabinets has stopped working
Carmen, I have this intermittently. I'm wondering now if mine is caused after windows 10 does an update. I have it set to update automatically. When it updates it wants to update my graphics driver and I get a message saying "unsuccessful" for the driver installation. Then I go to the Nvid...

Re: deleting top of cabinet removes doors?
Sorry Thomas, I should have clarified, my cabinets are frame rather than frameless like yours. I loaded a standard frameless cabinet and deleted the top, it reacts just like yours. It's a question Thermwood will have to answer for you.

Re: deleting top of cabinet removes doors?
Not sure why it's happening on your cabinet(s), but it doesn't happen on mine when I delete the top. You may want to post your cabinet.

Re: SBLink and dovetail drawers
At the time I was too busy trying to get kitchens out and simply went on to other things.

Re: SBLink and dovetail drawers
Yes Don I did try it as I recall about 4 years ago, so there have been updates to the link since then. I think the cutter, which I purchased thru Thermwood was close to $100.00, but don't hold me to that. I used a 1/4" cutter and the dovetail cutter. I don't think I had to flip any parts. It st...

Re: Wow!!!
Huh, well a while back I read an article on AI, which at the time I assumed was Artificial Intelligence. However, the more I thought about it I I realized they also refer to Artificial Insemination as AI. As I understand the article, It's possible that your computer has either been taken over by Art...

Re: Change Cabinet numbers?
It makes sense to re-number if you delete a cabinet and have no intention of replacing it. However, if you're replacing a cabinet with another cabinet, it's just a real pita to have the whole layout re-numbered. Maybe have a delete, or a replace option?

Re: Change Cabinet numbers?
I don't think there is a way to actually change the number(s). I've asked if it could be an option in the future over on the beta forum, but never heard back from TMC. It's really a pain if you delete a cabinet since it changes many numbers in the rest of the layout. I have, in the past, done it man...

Re: lost dimensions
That's certainly possible Jack. My gut instinct tells me it may be a problem with nvidia drivers and windows 10. Maybe they just aren't up to speed yet? Don't know, but it appears that those of us having problems seem to have the nvidia graphics cards. Maybe others will weigh in and we can attempt t...

Re: lost dimensions
Jack, I'm not sure if it's a windows 10 problem, or not. Mine is similar, but different than yours. When I take a cabinet to the lde and print, the preview looks fine, but when I actually print, it prints the arrows and sometimes the dims, but no expansion lines. For a little while it wouldn't print...

Re: Shopbot Link approaching almost 3.5 years since last update
It appears that Clint isn't getting my exports and I'm not certain why. At this point it appears that there are a few bugs that need to be fixed, one I ran into this am is that it seems to ignore nesting in the x and y. I clicked y and it nested x. I don't use tabs nor pocket holes so I didn't check...

Re: Shopbot Link approaching almost 3.5 years since last update
I hope that several of us are testing this Beta release simultaneously. I've sent Clint some exports that I believe have bugs, and according to him it takes both effort and time to fix them and get a debugged release out to us. I don't use pocket holes a lot, but some of you may appreciate the abili...
