So what is the advantage of out puting arcs commands? I experimented with that a while back. It resulted in writing a lot less code but the machine did not perform as well. A lot of operators, saying good things about Vortex Bits, especially cutting melamine.
Another suggestion is, can you try another brand of sheet material?
That could make a big difference

Hi Gerry That is the same as my original ram. with the upgrade I have pushed programs through with 4 to 5 million lines of code. I called thermwood tech support for the info. One other thing xp will reserve a certain portion of your ram for virtual memory and will not let you use it. I'm not sure of...

I installed 4 gig of ddr400 in my cs 45. It helped a lot. but that is the max for an XP based pc . Got it from newegg.com

so how do you set the unit up? Does it set on top of the spoil board and bolt through to the aluminum table beneath? Does Thermwood have the mounting holes already in the table?

I would call Thermwood tech support and have them send you what ever documents you need to setup and control.
and then contact Vectric about the post processor. they have a whole post processor heading on their forum. check there

Mine is an 2007, CS 45-060, I had not noticed any difference, in way I adjust my settings after surfacing.
