Re: V6 Save error

Terry,

Can you reproduce this a second time? Also, can you save one of the V6 standard cabs and get the same error? Can you please post the original cabinet you are working with and I will see if I can reproduce it.

Re: Printing Problem

Zach,

Try deleting the file { DrawingsPrinterSettings.ref } from your eCabSys install directory and then try to print from LDE.

Re: ERROR IN FILE\" MISSING OR OUT-OF-DATE EXPORT DLL

Larry, Thanks for the reply. I reproduced your issue on a machine here and we deduced it down to IE-8 as the only unique difference. So I wanted to confirm that you had IE8 as well so we did not jump the gun. The following worked for us here: * Shut down eCabSys * Extract the files that are in the a...

Re: ERROR IN FILE\" MISSING OR OUT-OF-DATE EXPORT DLL

Larry,

Crystal Reports 10 is not needed. eCabSys utilizes Crystal Reports 8.5.

We recommend that you try the following:
* Create a nest in eCabSys
* With eCabSys still running, launch your 8.5 Crystal reports.
* Load the eCabSys .RPT file in CR
* In CR Select Print, then Export. Does this work?

Re: Lebal printing from eCab - Missing or out-of-date export.DLL

Don,

I left you a voice mail to give me a call about this issue. Did you receive it? I would like to walk through all the steps you are doing. I know you mentioned in an email that the link I sent did not resolve it, so I feel like a phone conversation on the matter would better to proceed.

Ben,

No, it is not the same issue. This is separate and I will get it listed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: What the hell happened to my SIX KITCHENS!

Joe, This is to prevent multiple thicknesses for the same material name to exist in the same job(s), cab(s). If you save a cabinet or job with a material named MyMaterial and have it set to a thickness of .5", then close the cab or job, Change the thickness in the database to .75", then re...

Re: ShopBot Link manual not making sense

Don, It is no secret that the Shopbot link is based on Thermwood's Control Nesting feature that runs on our 91000 SuperControl. With that said, it appears that there are a few references to this that have not been removed or changed. I see about 4 or so of them. Sorry for the confusion it may have c...

Re: Forum Protocol

Nick, As we have mentioned before, we can talk about an issue you are having all day long, but if we cannot reproduce it here, it will not get fixed. I have tried to reproduce what you are talking about with the duplicate left/right and cannot repro your issue (even with a detached toe base below th...

Re: KD fittings on a drawer box

Fred, I looked into your issue here and unfortunately it is a glitch in the KD/RTA functionality of drawer box fronts. The drawer box fronts want to make the dado as a flip operation when KD cuts exist on the part. The only work around I can think of right now is to create a cabinet that is set up j...

Re: Forum Protocol

Nick, Sorry for your frustration. Could you please give more details as to the issues you are having. By this, I mean give us detailed steps that can reproduce the issue. Maybe: give us a job with the cabinet you are trying to duplicate left or right already placed in it and what you do step by step...

Re: Favorites in Super Control ?

Gentlemen, Could you please do a test for me. Close the SuperControl software, then open Windows Explorer at the SuperControl and go to the c:\system directory. In this directory, find the file "THMFavorites.fav", Right-Click on it and select <Properties> from the menu. Now, on the propert...
