Re: Come Out, Come out, where ever you are

I agree Gary, that "Announcements" thread up there is looking very lonely. I think Thermwood is aiming for Microsoft vapourware status, means they have really arrived :)

Re: Problem with Cupping

Hi Gary, I would not really recommend fixing stiffeners t othe underside of the top as that can lead to other problems. What we do to most of our timber tops is cut a series of parallel saw cuts in the length, 2/3 the thickness of the timber to the underside of the top every 25mm or 1" this wil...

Re: Hinge Plate Holes Wrong Depth

Hi Nat I have just run a job where some of the hinge plate holes have drilled shallow and some at the correct depth, just like your case. I have checked the drawings and nest and the hole depths are mixed which is strange as I am applying the same hole pattern which I have checked to be the correct ...

Re: How to convert from .DXF to .HSF?

Hi Jon. The Process is as follows: you will need to convert from DXF to STL with a 3rd party app like Accutrans or TurboCad first before you bring the object into the Display part Editor and convert it there to HSF. If you want to edit textures and colours the part will have to be broken down into l...

Re: None of the hardware is associated...

Michael the way it works is when you choose a hinge or runner for use in the cabinet you associate a hole pattern to it. You do this in the door/ drawer editor, drawer box editor or the cabinet defaults or when you select a KD in the construction settings etc.

Re: Cabinet numbers

This is why I asked the question. If it is a matter of numbering the units in the drawings one can put in ones own numbers manually in the line drawing editor.

John I also experienced these problems a few years ago when running CV in tandem with eCabs. My solution.... uninstall CV.

Re: Nested sheets print out different sizes

Hi Greg. I experience this problem now and again and have discovered that CN mixes the page layout for lables withe that of the sheet printer. Check the page size of the printer before printing (is actually A4 or whatever size you use) and it will be fine.

So I changed the name back to what it was, but no go it still requires re-registration. BRILLIANT!!!!!!! Of course the online code generator says I have exceeded my limit fo...
