Are you using this with E-cabinets? If so, why not just use the label system? I haven't had any problems other than doors; you can use a user part name to get around this. I guess this makes sense if you're using some other cam package; but it seems a bit tedious if you're just busting out cabinet p...

My work around for that is I would turn your DWG or floor plan in to a STL. Open your custom layout I put one wall in the layout at_0,0 Then put the STL in the layout. You could create one library w/ default finish, create a batch and use change sheet stock for whichever cabinets require a different finish.
