Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation
I also agree that having the holes for the back of the drawer fronts would be a great idea. Put that in with having slide holes with no drawer box for those who outsource drawers (like dovetailed solid wood) and you have a winner. I also think the idea of machining dovetailed drawers from plywood on...

Re: Let's give Thermwood some well deserved credit!
I want to get some un-deserved credit myself so I can buy a Thermwood router. 8) Thanks Thermwood. I like to wish for things that are not yet there, but you folks have been doing a good job. I know that Version 6 has not been the easiest for Thermwood. I don't know of any other company that provides...

No Neville, California Dreaming was done by The Mommas and the Poppas.
The bugs will be gone soon from Version 6. I agree that there are a number of great improvements. Thanks Thermwood.

Re: Please Thermwood let us go to V7...!!!!!
Hey, let's go forward not back. I'm ready for Version 7 which will have a terrific line drawing editor, a molding profile editor, a more complete door editor with mid-styles and rails and a Custom Layout Editor with rendered cabinets (like it used to be). V7 will also take half the memory space - an...

Re: eCabinets keeps shutting down
So Daniel, if you were having the same problem with Build 1 and 2 did you report it? Kind of hard to tell what your error is from the screen shot. You might want to give the Thermwood folks a bit more information to track down your problem. For instance, when did the error occur? Did it happen right...

Re: Interesting screen while viewing room layout
Ya know Don, with your programming and probably debugging skills you might want to sign up to beta test this software. This way you can get more of the problems fixed faster. As a former programmer I'm sure that you also know that Thermwood needs a few more clues to be able to track a down bug like ...

Re: Interesting screen while viewing room layout
Kinda hard to even see what is in the image, at least on my screen. You might need to give a few more details and maybe upload your project file so Thermwood can have a look at it.

Re: Please Help!!
Hopefully you have already contacted Thermwood. I have not noticed any of the Thermwood guys chime in here, so do not assume that they have read your post.

Re: Please Help!!
I open the project file and then the LDE. Both pages looked okay. I then tried a Print Preview on Page 2 and the Beach Ball of Death came up on the screen (the program was hung). Thermwood needs to check this on out.

Re: Please Help!!
First off, is this problem occurring on other projects? If you can you might want to post the job. If it is too big you can probably just zip it up and email it to Thermwood to have a look at it.
What do you mean by crashing? Does it pop up a message, or does it just appear to be hung?

Re: Adding Pulls or Knobs
There must be a pull selected in the Cabinet Editor in order to change the pulls. If you normally don't want the pulls to show you can check the Mark Location Only check-box when adding the pulls. (Note: This is apparently currently broken since rendered pulls are showing up in the Custom Layout Edi...

Re: Draw Box Problems
Ideas? Nope. But you can probably get it to mill up by reducing the Blind Dado Tenon Settings to 50% for the Front and Back Construction Parameters. When I did that it appears like it would work (based on the nesting), but I don't have a machine to check it on. I am guessing that the software did no...

Change Texture to Image Bug V6 Bld2 -Minor
This is another minor bug. Create a 3 sided room. Select the Render mode. Orient the room so that one outside wall and two inside walls are visible. Using the right mouse menu, select Texture Options/Change Texture. Select the Stretch radio button. Select the Image button, then select a picture, suc...

Re: Door sizes incorrect in Buy List
For the time being you can just use the Job Buy List which does seem to have the right info.
