Hi Paul, I belive that there are other postings on this site that explain the offalls. We don't show it yet in the nesting area but offalls can be located in the G901 location as well as being able to rotate the offall in any direction. I will get some more info on this after I talk to the programme...

Hi Nick, At this time we do not have any feature like this for machining a pre-cut part. RN will put a clearance on the outside of the part so that it can nest it. You will also need a layer name for the outline. You can try to do this and then etch the spoilboard first and then place your part over...

Hi,

If you have small parts that are moving on you, make sure that you have a double pass set for those pieces. Also make sure that your spoilboard and/or wasteboard is clean and that you have as less cuts as possible on the surface. This will cause small parts to move.

Guys, Another consideration would be the cut direction. I seem to find that a conventional cut will give me a better edge than a climb cut. At one point I used the 3/8 tool for the outline but then switched to a Vortex .5 3 flute compression bit. I love this tool. I run at 18000 rpms and around 700 ...

Mike,

I know that materials for building my house went up considerably just because of the war in Iraq and that was last year. I cannot image what the cost for materials would be now with gas prices going up and with the soon to be rebuilding of the southeast region.

Hi,

Nick is correct. We have had this error since we went to Windows 2000 for the operating system. This does not or affect anything with the controller or the software.

thanks,

Hi Bill, If the last X and Y position before the tool change was X21 Y21, you could either enter that in after the tool change or a different X and Y position. The machine needs to know where to go next after the tool change. You always want to move the machine to the correct X and Y coordinates bef...

Hi Dave, The graph will have nothing to do with Rolling Nest. Perhaps you can email me the cnc and twd file to: cabinets@thermwood.com Another tip would be not to block step + when you are in cuttercomp. Once you are out of cuttercomp it is fine but as you seen in this example, the tool moved off of...

Hi Bill,

After the tool change, you will need an X and Y movement without the Z to the 1st point in your program. It would be better to have this in Absolute.

Hi Bill, You can look at the Z shift for the thickness of the sheet. I still think that even if you use a micrometer to measure the thickness of the sheet that the sheet might change thickness from one side to the other. There is still a possibility that there is a bug with changing material thickne...
