Re: More school fees
I cut alot of MDF here in the shop and have little problem doing so. I would have to wonder if your dust collection is sufficient enough or maybe has a restriction cuttin down the cfm's. Just a thought.

Re: Saving as a .dxf file
Thanks kerry, I was hoping I could save the geometry as a dxf file but now that I think about it, that has been covered to prevent people from saving as a dxf and cutting on competitor machines.
Thanks again,
Damon

Saving as a .dxf file
Its been a while since I tried this but I thought you could take a part into the parts editor and create your geometry and then save the geometry as a dxf file. I can only get a x_t extention to show up.
Maybe I dreamed this.
Thanks,
Damon

Re: MDF Doors?
as others have stated, the MDF grade makes a big difference and you might adjust your step over. A smaller step over will take a little longer but will produce a better end result. I am assuming you are using the profile modeler.

Re: Anyone Using the CS 41?
Kerry, I looked at the 41 when I purchased my 45. There are limitations to the 41. It runs a little slower, you are limited to the 4x8 table, and you can not use the rotary play back with the 41 and I am wanting to say that there are fewer tool holder positions. Are you thinking about getting into a...

Re: Partition and shelf pin holes
One thing to remember on thinner material. If you are placing shelf pin holes on both sides and wish to have your shelving level across the cabinet. The length of the pins may interfere with each other. I try to stay with 3/4" for center partitions to avoid this problem.

Problem with Blind Dado
Somebody want to take a look at this problem. The back left tenon has a chamfer cut rather than a tenon and the right tenon on the Back is wireframed. If I change the back left to BUTT is correct the right side. What the flip is going on now?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Unable to Edgeband Part
Here is your cabinet with edgebanding. You need to open the construction settings and set the deck , front edge to Butt . You will notice the area is blank.

Re: shop bot
We now offer an extensive body of cabinet and furniture libraries and carving files that are all available free. Ken, That's great that you now offer these features for free. I just wish your salesman that called me about six weeks ago and asked if I would be interested in purchasing those carvings...

Re: Maintenance Groups Missing
Mine did that with the last update. It screwed up one of the files. I forget now which one but if you call THM they can tell you which one you need to erase and your maintenance will start working again.
