Your wanting the cut list to take all of the, say, 2\" X 31\" stiles and tell you that you need 10 of these instead of listing ten separate ones. I am not smart enough to do that but then I want to be able to look at the cut list and see which cabinets these parts go to so I want them list...

Peter, Go to Preferences/Define Stock Materials/ Sheet Stock/ Then select 3/4 Generic. The image listed will be what your sheet goods will have when you select a standard cabinet. Go to Preferences/Define Stock Materials/ Board stock and select Generic 2 X 3/4 and the image shown will be what your f...

I guess I am missing something here. All of your materials will be whatever texture you have selected in Preferences. The exception would be that when you place a door or drawer front on your cabinet your face frames will change to the texture of whatever door or drawer front that you place on that ...

Rick, I don't know how Geo does it but I export the cut list and save it to a file then I open that file in Excel and click on the tab that I want to sort such as \"Sheet Component Listing\". I then click on \"Data\" on the Excel menu bar and choose \"Sort\". This opens...

Gordon, By exporting the cutlist to Excel you can arrange a cut list any way you want. You can adjust the way it is sorted and how the columns are arranged. The first pdf below is a board stock cut list as it comes from eCabinets. The second pdf is that cut list sorted in Excel. The third pdf is the...

Robert,
Open your job and go to the wall editor and see what the height of your walls are set to. Sometimes the lights are placed at the height in the wall editor and not the height of the walls in the room.

Michael, The software will always use the system prices. You can just consider the difference in price part of your profit or you can go to preferences and use a negative markup percentage to lower the cost of all of your hardware. I don't think there is a way to change individual prices. I wouldn't...

Brian,
This one is just a decorative vent hood. I didn't try to provide any storage. You could change the construction a little though and it is big enough to have storage.

Here is a shot of the back side of the hood showing how the hood insert fits. My customer had originally wanted a Vent-a-Hood insert which was a really tight fit but changed to this Dacor.
That is the great thing about eCabinets, making sure everything fits before you start to build.

Brian,
Here is the assembly for the vent hood. I didn't get all the details worked out but you can get the idea. You should be able to re-size everything. I made it fit a Dacor 30\" insert which I did a mock-up so I could see how it fits.

Ted,
I think I would try slowing the hardware acceleration and see if that helps the problem.

I think they built the site using Swish and not Macromedia products. That probably slows things down some. I use Coffeecup software to create my Flash movies and Galleries and they don't have all of the Pre-loaders etc so it makes things run slow. Like anything else the best tools create the best pr...
