Re: Breakfast

Mmmm, my breakfast that I eat every day... Two slices of toast with a slice of cheese, lettuce, a few slices of tomato, some sliced onion with salt and ground pepper. 3 to 4 slices of bacon, a hamburger pattie or steak a baked egg (sunny side up) and 500ml of fresh juice. I don't have lunch after al...

Blizzard? Snowstorm? How about a hailstorm

Late November 2008 we had a hailstorm that lasted about 10-15 minutes. Luckily the stones were only about 10mm in diameter but it took two days to melt away. These storms we have about twice a year but rarely with very big stones. Here's some of the photos we took. 20081117557.jpg 20081117558.jpg 20...

I don't think it was a very exciting game, seeing as they all got dealt 'cold' hands!

Re: Happy Birthday Paul Ellis

Thank you Dan. I am only answering now because I took the day off and did not even touch a computer or anything remotely connected to any form of work! You can't imagine how quickly work piles up if you do that! BTW I had a great day with friends and family, so much so that the last ones only left a...

Re: problem with making jeps of cabinets

Could this problem perhaps have something to do with the combination of resolution/refresh rate (Hz) of the video card? And perhaps if you have interlacing activated or not? Have a look at this http://www.pcguide.com/ref/video/modesRefresh-c.html Perhaps a bit technical, but I think worth looking in...

Re: Countertop and Cutting in for Sinks

John, If the cutout that you make is the same every time, it is relatively easy to save this and then re-use it later on. Take one of your tops that you already cut out to the part editor. Go into contour mode and right-click, select the CreateEdges. This will create blue edge lines. Delete the ones...

Re: Display But Not Cut A Panel

Leigh,
create a material called 'cut_by_hand'. Take a standard cabinet and delete all but one side. Change the material to your 'cut_by_hand' material. Resize as needed. Save this cabinet and use where needed. When nesting you can filter this out as needed. HTH

I am awaiting delivery of my router!

I AM SO EXCITED I JUST CAN'T WAIT!
...About 3 months ago I entered a competition to win a Thermwood router. This was only for South Africans to boost the sales here. Yesterday I got a phone call informing me that I won!
I am so excited I can hardly type this!
