Greg,

Great setup/design. Presentation view looks like you've been doing this for years! Keep it up. Congrats.

Kevin, I think you are on the right track. I typically will build the knee wall/pony wall as a 3 or 4\" thick section - allows for electrical outlets on the lower working side of the wall. I agree with your proposed technique - using an assembly. One or more cabinets create the island, another ...

Ray,

I've been using Blum 71T5550 hinges (full overlay) and BL173H7100 mounting plates; both ordered through Thermwood.

Jeff, Great question, already an interesting thread with the variety of responses. I work from prints supplied by a kitchen designer, so I don't layout my cabinets in rooms for presentation view. My PC also lack the horsepower to properly support presentation views - but anyway... I don't use ecabs ...

I realized a few hours later I sounded like a very poor looser, and while it is true, I shouldn't sound like one  , so Congrats Indy fans, your team showed up bigtime and earned the title with an all round great team effort. Congrats again.

Re: Super?? bowl

I think Bears fans should get paid more than that for watching it at home, at least the rain cooled them off in Miami, I could have spontaneously combusted! I'm all right now, just busted....

That is spectacular. The carved shell detail is one I have never seen in a kitchen before.

Sharon,

Joe's link is where it is at. The Hafele HR2 and Panaflex racks let you move panels/parts/molding out of the spraybooth after they have flashed off (dustproof) and wheel them into an area to fully cure.

Tim, The last one I did was 22\" deep, 42\" wide and was 26\" above the cooktop. Code requires 24\" in my area (check local codes as Dan suggests). The hood box measured 30\" tall, and the hood liner and blower (Dacor IVS1) was recessed about 4\" up into the hood box. T...

another project made possible by eCabinets software

Thank you Thermwood! Attached find the latest project completed last week - sold by the rendered drawings and construction optimized by this great software. To be able to model a project and analyze additive tolerances makes my job so much easier - and confident it will \"all go together\"...

Paul, More nice work, Paul! Great stuff, and thank you for teaching me more about the capabilities of this software, just as Dan mentioned. A word of warning: Don't use too much soap when doing the dishes with Ecabs or you will see streaks on your glassware - especially if you have the big dollar vi...

Rob, You can also build a small \"heat tent\". In my previous life I did this to test various products and processes. Build a box or enclosure with cardboard, plastic sheeting, plywood or whatever. It should be large enough to house the chair and a small space heater plus enough room to al...

Lamar, I'm guessing the project is between 8 and 10 feet wide, and if so you price is right on for a high quality built in project. I always want to know if a customer is comparing another shop's definition of quality (1/8\" furniture board, hotglue, plastic corner clips and RTA connectors) or ...
