Re: E-Cabs crashing

Rob, The job has a corrupt appliance segment in it that originated and existed in the 5.1 job (not sure how it happened). Hence the tool tip pop up on your 1st picture posted here. 5.2's new layout does not seem to tolerate it as well as 5.1 did. We will have the software look for this situation in ...

Re: eCab 5.2 batch issues

Steve, I tried it on my PC and it worked (no crash). Does the twd file get created?? I have had one other person that I know of who gets a crash at the end of CNC from time to time but his will always create a good twd. I have not been able to reproduce it from his jobs either. Are you saving across...

Re: Wall Cabinet

Sergio, I have a feeling that you are saving as an assembly when you do not need to. I have had this conversation with a few other people as well, so don't feel alone (and if you already know this, please don't feel offended). This can be confusing but I will try to keep it short. There are essentia...

Re: Sizing Bug.

Damon, Sorry for the late response here, but we have been looking into your issues that you have mentioned in this post (including the Profile modeler cab number issue and stray display panel in your job file “Lot 378 Bayou Vista.esj” ). First, lets start with the cabinet not being sized correctly f...

Re: DFX import

Gentlemen, There is actually a very simple way to rotate any geometry 90 degrees (or others too) in eCabinet Systems by using the mirror functionality. (View my attached jpg and it will make sense) But the short of it is: 1.) Make a line that is 45 degrees some where (near the geometry, in the middl...

Re: Cabinet Back Issues

Georgi,

Post one of your cabinets that you believe presents this issue. We will take a look at it and see if there is any obvious problem. As of now, I do not know of any issue with this.

Re: Custom Flooring

John,

I simply used std Windows Paint. You can load this jpg in paint and change the tiles colors by using the fill command and resave it.

Re: Custom Flooring

John,

You can make the image have 4 tiles that make up the pattern and then it will tile nicely. I attached a jpg of a black/white pattern. I saved this jpg at a size of 24" X 24". Just tile it manually until it looks the way you need it.

Re: Custom Flooring

John, You can add any image to the system and apply it to the floor or wall. If you go to Custom Layout "Render View" area, right click and choose: Texture Options> Wall/Floor> Change Texture. This will allow you to manually tile an image and apply it (even one you add). You can add images...

Al,

Yes, close eCabs (if running), open the file ecabinets.ini (in your installed directory), search for PlaceItemGridSpacing=. You can set it to 12.0000 if it is at some odd value, then restart eCabs and see if you can use Detail Room. Hope this helps.

Al, Do you mean when an old job is loaded it works fine until you take it to Detail Room area? If so, you may want to check and see if you have the Show Grid option turned on in the Detail Room area. If so, make sure that the grid setting value on the left menu (in Detail Room) is not set to a very ...

Ben, I have reproduced your issue. No need to send anything in (as Justin requested). I will get it on the list to be resolved. This may be a \"well duh\" question, but here goes: Is the additional offset required for what you are doing? Are you using inward or outward additional offset? A...

Joe, I am not sure if I am following your step correctly here. Could you give me more info on reproducing this? It may save time and possibly wrong interpretation by giving me a phone call and walking though it together. I want to make sure that I am not missing anything here. If you would like to c...

Jerry,

Attached the job and the cabinet that you are trying to place between the existing 2 cabs and I will see if it reproduces for me.
