Is there a way to set up islands in pockets using the DXF layers? I'm doing a piece of text and the interiors of the letters like "O" and "R" are being pocketed out. I have closed vectors and I'm pretty sure they are clean. Does the Island need a dummy depth or something? Thanks ...

That's correct. It was a stylized text that I scaled and fit in AI, then saved as DWG for ACAD.
