Thank you both Mike and Micheal. I have just one more Q, Mike, if you now take your square and first make it a circle and then you want to make a profile cut...where on the circle do you click to get the cut path right? Do you 'imagine' it still being a square and click approximately where you would...

Part editor cuts
I must confess I haven't really studied this, but I was hoping for a 'simple' answer to this. When in the parts editor, you use one of Paul Huff's tools (sorry Paul, I am only using your tools as an example) or any 'one-sided' tools for that matter, how do you determine which side of the tool will a...

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but when in the shelf editor higlight the shelf in question and right click. Near the bottom you get the choice 'User part name'. Click on that and name your part. When you nest the cab and double click on the sheet where the shelf is cut out of, you...

Update on this: To start with these people need 200 workstations built. Fortunately, the compartment where the computer components will fit has not been finalized. BUT, I still need detailed instructions on KD/RTA assemblies. If someone can just point me in the right direction or if there is a book ...

Woodworking terms
I thought this is quite cool, as English is only my second Language and I do not always know all the terms in English. This list is by far not complete, but I found it informative (well some of the terms anyway)

John, Open a Windows Explorer and navigate to the files that you have a problem with. Right click on the file and open up 'Properties'. Have a look at the attributes (at the bottom). Perhaps the 'Read-only' attribute is active. Click on it to remove the mark. Do this for all your files that you copi...

KD/RTA fastener info needed
Anybody, I have never used KD/Rta fasteners but I quickly have to learn how. I recieved a design for a computer workstation which I have to give a quote on. I can see that if it is assembled it will NOT fit through a standard door. So, I have to get some info on the fasteners, construction method, t...

Ok, I tried the 2d and it worked fine. It is still wierd that the 3d would grab a point at the other side of the cab. If you take the measurements of square 828 plus square 326 (width of the door) and you take the square root of that, you get to 904 (rounded 903.6747) So, once again it shows one tha...
