End of Support for Win7
Greetings all!
With reference to the upcoming deadline from Microsoft, ending support for Windows 7, I was wondering if there will be any negative impact on our Thermwood machine running Win7?

Re: using barcode scanner to perform functions
There doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut currently for opening the EZ-Offal dialog. So, if you wanted to get fancy, you could download a program like Auto Clicker and program a keyboard shortcut to automatically move the mouse to a specific location on the screen and click. Then once you've done...

Single Tool Pass Doesn't Obey Max Penetration Settings
Hello again! I would like to be able to run a single tool pass that obeys the max penetration settings that are set for that tool in profile modeler. Right now, to achieve this, we need to do an enclosed path that runs all the way around the part, so it ramps down and obeys the max penetration. This...

CN 6.15 Broke Modelling
Greetings all!
Heads up, Control Nesting 6.15 broke something. I was trying to nest an mdf door with four modeled regions, and all four regions gave me an error. I rolled back to version 6.14, and everything worked fine.

Re: Roughing feature not working for me
Clint,
It's using Group 11 for the parts I was cutting. Roughing should be enabled with a 2mm cleanup pass. File attached below, cutting the 38mm Gen SOLID WOOD. I was using tool 511 as the roughing tool, no boxes checked.

Roughing feature not working for me
Greetings all! Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I tried the roughing feature for the first time today, and it didn't work as expected. The roughing pass automatically created large radiuses on the corners of the part, and the final outline pass didn't touch the part at ...

Re: Restart halfway through a sheet
Forrest, I tried doing that, but I must have done something wrong, since it went off and started cutting outside my wasteboard area. Seems like somewhere along the way it must have missed a line of code. This approach would probably work better for someone that knew how to read code. I got it to ski...

Restart halfway through a sheet
Greetings all! I was just wondering if there's any way to resume cutting from any given point in a sheet. For example, we were cutting a sheet that takes roughly half an hour, and I was going to watch some of the tutorial videos that are saved on the machine, and the computer crashed and shut down j...

Re: THM not starting
Yes we are connected to a network... I've never thought about that possibility. my theory was that the computer is slowing down as it gets older, and startup procedures are taking longer. Last year THM kept giving me error messages that the intime kernel wasn't running, so I set up a 30 second delay...
