V6Build4 doors,etc.

Just updated to B4 From B2. Downloaded and saved file, then installed from that file. I get a "specified bead tool does not exist" error when I try to open either Conestoga or Thermwood doors or drawer fronts. I tried "repair" option. Can open slab and MDF. Worked fine in Build 2...

Re: Frame flush to inside

I normally build with face frames and would really like to be able to lay out my face frame openings and be able to have the PARTITIONS offset relative to the face frame rather than visa-versa. That way if I reconfigure the opening I can move the partions where ever I want without having to bounce b...

the HSF is of a standing woman made of many parts. Separate parts for upper arm, lower arm, hand, etc. I know that the display editor is not designed as a full bang on 3d editor. I am able to manipulate the seprate parts using trial and error rotate and move commands. Just can't figure out what \&qu...

We seem to be talking about different editors. :) I am in Display Part Editor. Little by little I am getting it. I also see that there are duplicate operations in the \"Operator\" drop down list. The second set of \"operators\" don't work. Glich? Or old man delusions?

Thanks for the reply. I can rotate separate parts. Even with \"normal\" HSFs I get kerfunkled on where in space the parts \"rotate\" around. Pck a part, choose rotate part, move mouse, part swings around based on some point. Where is the point in relationship to anything? (My bra...

HSF edit woman

A number of months ago I asked about humans for display. Someone kindly posted an HSF of a standing woman. I am trying to modify it so the arm is upraised as if opening an upper. Needless to say, while using the editor I get arms sticking out ears, detached hands, etc. I can't seem to get a grasp on...

Ok, I'm confusing myself. Will try again. First pic is iso and shows tapering to distance. Second Pic is ortho and shows expanding to distance. If iso has perspective, I would think ortho would show rectangles/cubes and such with parallel lines/sides.

Just to confirm my thoughts. In Iso view nearer items of the same size should appear larger and \"shrink\" the farther away they are, as in perspectives. Or a cube should taper front to back. Like a I said, I may be having a brain fart and this is the \"reverse\" Iso is the way i...

No problem in ortho, just iso. In Iso it goes thin to fat rather than fat to thin. Maybe my brain is still running nueron(?)V 0.5 revision A

Reverse Isometric View

Is it my old eyes, or is there something wrong. V5.1 build 1. When in Iso view the cabinet tapers wider near to far rather than narrowing. I don't remember seeing this before. This cabinet was created with this build, based on the island in the standard cabinet directory. Am I just having a senior m...

Re: Hey, I made an arched wall unit!

Not perfect of course, but I made it arched, or barrel vault. :D This begs the question "Can you build it?" Of course I'm just kidding but for some funny reason it sort of reminded me of a current commercial on TV with a guy jumping off a bridge with wing on and everyone shouting "he...
