Re: doubled x-y axes in hole pattern editor
Well, poop. Now it's not doing it. I love intermittent issues. This kinda thing has appeared in other editors, I believe, so possibly it's a video card thingie. Since it's not really a big deal, I'm going to ignore it. I've got enough trouble with the carburetor on my truck right now. Thanks much - ...

Re: Another hole pattern question
Thanks gentlemen - I realized I was doing it correctly, except I left out the depth setting, so no holes appeared. Also I was able to find the placement info in the help menu, thanks Rick and Dan. Sometimes I find the help menu is not so helpful - kinda disjointed and sparse. I'm never sure where to...

Re: doubled x-y axes in hole pattern editor
Thanks Rick, it's been that way every time I turn the thing on. I'm assuming I'm the only user to experience this, which makes me rare and unique. What an honor!

Another hole pattern question
I'm trying to make hole patterns for some slides (Accurides) - pretty easy, except the X-Y axes are used differently for different types of hardware (hinges are different than KD hardware). In the "Ecabinetsystems Made Easy" manual, there's a pretty decent explanation of hole patterns. Of ...

doubled x-y axes in hole pattern editor
Hey gentlepeople - just a minor annoyance here, when I go to hole pattern editor, I get 2 red x-y axes. One is centered on 0,0, the other centered at -202mm x -23mm. What the huh? Is this a bug, or a value-added feature?
Thanks - Jason

Re: Duplicate cabinet numbers
There is one assembly in the job, but it's not one of the problem cabinets. Usually there's no problem with assemblies - it's a cumbersome numbering system, but I can decipher it. This one is just weird.

Re: Duplicate cabinet numbers
Hey Gary - nope, they're not from batch. One is an upper frig cabinet (24" deep), the other is a lower 1-drawer/2-door. Created from 2 different seed cabinets. I'll post the job here, I know everyone wants to work on this over the weekend.
Thanks - Jason

Duplicate cabinet numbers
Tiny kitchen, two cabinets labelled #9. Shows up in nest and everything. Pretty awesome. Any ideas on why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks - Jason again.

Re: Another nest issue
Ach! Got it - it's allowing the 3mm collar plus the kerf on either side, ergo 12mm total. So my 2430mm panel becomes 2442mm. Thank you Watson and Sherlock, much appreciated.

Another nest issue
Hiya - I've got a couple panels, 650mm x 2430mm walnut, that refuse to nest. The material sheet stock is 1219mm x 2438mm, and the collar is set at 3mm. Ergo, it should fit on the sheet with 2mm to spare, right? Nope. If I change the collar to 2mm, it will work. Is the software having math issues, or...

Re: Nesting too many cabinets
So if I batch it within a larger job (that has a custom layout also), is it possible to just nest that one batched cabinet, or will it attempt to nest the whole shebang? What if I hold my right hand in the air while clicking the mouse with my left? What if I'm wearing a purple shirt? Now I'm just as...
