Re: Feature Requests
I see your point Kerry, but I still agree with Gerry. Your comment "The list idea comes up quite often" should indicate that this is something needed. I see this discussion about 2 things; 1) An organized & updated list of requests & upcoming features, and 2) A way to help Thermwoo...

I always appreciate your feedback Gary, even if I don't always understand or agree with it. Thank you for taking the time. I hope that my many comments and questions are taken in the spirit with which they are intended - i.e. constructive feedback that is hopefully appreciated & seriously consid...

ShopBot Link Feature Requests
I didn't see a thread on this anywhere so I thought I'd start one. Tools 1) Allow users to leave tools which we do not want to be active (available for machining) in the Operation Tools Setup list. I want to retain all the important diameter, speed & depth settings I have acquired for each tool ...

How do YOU sync everything between computers?
If any of you use more than one PC to work on, I would be interested to hear how you are syncing ALL of your data between them. I originally tried to sync EC between two of my PCs using Dropbox (I have successfully done this with several other apps), but found it was impossible due to the way that d...

Re: Cabinet Construction Questions
Thank you Josh. I understand what you mean with the Global Settings helping a little, but it sounds like I still need to reset allot of individual Construction Settings for every cabinet I make that is different from the seed cab it started out as. You're right, it's getting faster & easier all ...

Cabinet Construction Questions
As a newbie, I'm trying to build a library of my cabinets. These may seem like rookie questions, so I hope you guys can offer me a simple solution that I'm just not familiar with yet. Cabinet Type If I understand what I've read correctly, I am not able to save a wall corner cabinet (that I created b...

Re: Question about Define Hardware
I agree! I may be incorrect, but this sounds allot like the problem I was having here with user data not being respected. http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13123 I'd suggest that all user-modified data be identified & separated clearly by the programmers so that, among othe...

Feature Requests Clarification As a newbie, please forgive me if I don't understand exactly how these are being handled in this forum, but I find it difficult to find/identify which feature requests have been made, which are being considered/rejected & which are being implemented in the next re...

Applied Finished Ends I too will be using applied panels to finish my cabinet ends, but I haven't gotten there yet. Could you please explain how best to do this? If I use a slab door as suggested by Scott, I assume I would pick a door & position it next to my cabinet in Custom Layout? How do yo...

Conestoga Door Images Thanks for helping to clarify Kerry & Rick. However, when I changed the materials folder it affected BOTH the thumbnails in the Door Drawer Front Editor & the door on my cab in the Cabinet Editor. How do I change the image associated with a Conestoga door if I would lik...

Re: Feature Requests
Conestoga doors do not use images in the materials folder. They use images from C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\Doors\Conestoga\FINISHES. That's odd Rick. I never touched the items in the folder you mention, yet the door kept coming up with the yellow "image not found"...

Re: Swapping Edgebaning on Multiple Cabinets
Thanks for the tip Daniel. I just tried your suggestion (as I understand it). While I see that it could possibly be used to achieve this, it's certainly not very user-friendly or congruent with maintaining an accurate material library. If I understand you correctly. What I believe you're saying is t...
