I don't have a problem with dust on my parts but do have some on my table after removing the cut parts. I brush the table off with a hand brush then sweep the floor later. My dust collector is a 3 HP Oneida and I am thinking of upgrading to a 5HP. Now I worry about the small parts moving from too mu...

Very impressive work Kerry! That would have been a fun job for a Thermwood router! Keep up the good work!

Thom,

The ShopCarts that Glenn shows are the ones that I bought. After all of the cutting is done, I restack horizontally on a flat cart. This take up much less space.

Thom,

I bought a few Lateral parts carts from \"ShopCarts\". They were about $265. ea. but worth every penny. They help me separate parts by cabinet and roll really well on my uneven shop floor.

Nice work Audrey! It takes a lot of time to do a kitchen like that. You've got to do it for the really tough customers like that(yourself!). Have you heard of Kit-To cabinets in Quebec? I went there a few years ago to check them out as a supplier.

Jeff, Have you had a chance to work on my sign yet? Just wondering. Also, if I use Extira, should I still seal it with a varnish? I did purchase BobCad but I'm sure it will be a while 'till I learn it. I think I will also check out Insignia that you suggested. Is that what you currently use? Thank y...

Brian, I've been playing with it(eCabinet Systems) since V2. I haven't really been serious untill V4. I went though the learning guide, then took Dennis's class in Las Vegas. The visual thing works better for most of us. A lot of what was taught in class, I knew from the guide but still learned a lo...

I must say Thank You to Michael. He did set me up with a VERY good deal on Bobcad and BobArt. He just gave me a number for his contact at Bobcad and I only paid half of what I expected! Thanks Micheal!

Dave, I had the same problem and saw the same on the router that Thermwood had at Las Vegas. I was only running a 3/4\" spoilboard. I then added a 1/4\" wasteboard on top of that and my through cut looks even now. I can't explain it unless maybe the wasteboard seals the rest of the table b...

Michael,

Thanks for the info.. I think if I can get 20.5 and Bobart pro X for $1500 or so, I'd be doing good. I just can't justify Mastercam or Artcam. I am a small shop but need some other cad/cam software to compliment eCabinets.

Yes, it would be fun allthough some of the designs I think look sort of outdated or rough. I talked to Eric about maybe some more modern vinyard type designs(of course I'm in wine country). They need some input as to what kind of designs we would like to see.

Have you tried any of the Thermwood carving programs? I'm all set up and ready but just haven't had time to play yet.

Forrest, Thanks for the tips! I think I will use the 1 1/4\" Extira. Yes, the roller works well on the surface. Accually on the sign, the letters are raised so I will paint the background then roll the letters and border. It should be good. I think I will look into BobCad. What version are you ...
