Re: Feed Back On colour Labels
Thom, We have tried the symbols. I don't know for sure that it has improved anything though. In concept, it is a great idea but I just do not like the symbols. I would prefer numbers or alphabet letters instead. When I have 20 or more cabinets coming off the machine and we are trying to separate the...

Re: Efficient way to assemble cabinets (hiPurformer glue)
1/2" material I use glue in the blind dado's and 1" staples. 3/4" material I use glue and 2" screws to pull the joints together. I have talked with some people using the Hipurfomer glues and have been told that they work best if you only use it in the corners of the cabinet to ac...

Re: Drawer Assembly Techniques
Jerry,
On your prefinished ply. Are you just running it through an edgebander and then assemble?

Re: Playing with stuff
This is the bit I ordered. In theory it should work but I did not have good results.

Re: Playing with stuff
Gary, I am not sure what a quirk is, but you do not want that top part of the bead. You would want to flush out the bead with the top of the material. Otherwise your margins around the door will look too large. I ordered a 45deg router bit a few years ago and thought that would be the way to go also...

Re: Playing with stuff
Gary, You can do it either way depending on your comfort zone. If it is a stain grade cabinet, you can pin nail the bead on as you described and you will not notice the seam as much. If it is a painted cabinet, the seam shows up more and will require caulking. Glaze the cabinet as well and you can c...

Re: Playing with stuff
Nice looking work Kerry. I do a lot of Beaded Face Frame Cabinets and they are a pain in the Rear. Most people do not understand the upcharge for applying that simple little bead and then trying to get the proper reveals around the door. Here is a resizable beaded face frame insert if anyone needs i...

Label symbols
I like the concept of the symbols on the labels for sorting purposes but I am also curious if there is a way to change the type of symbols that are being used. Stars, Moons, Robots,TP's, Arrows,ETC... are cute but it makes it hard to develop a system. I use sorting carts to put my parts in as they c...

Re: Assembly marks issue
Jason says the assembly marks are to be added last. I am curious if you already have a seed cabinet with assembly marks and then you change the cabinet, Would you need to delete the assembly marks and then re-apply them. Just curious, we are going to be cutting a kitchen out tonight and need to be i...

Wouldn't go back to cutting them any other way. Once you get your machine dialed in, no problems.

Re: KD/RTA Question?
Disregard the Pin Holes. I figured that one out. If you change the opening Height, the Partitions do not resize and therefore they get crammed up into the top stretcher causing a problem with the visibility of the holes. I would still like to know if the KD fasteners could be located on the rear of ...

KD/RTA Question?
On the two partitions, I have housing holes but no holes for the pins on the two upper front housings. Also I can not seem to get the KD fasteners to show up on the rear of these partitions. I have tried different offsets but can't seem to get the magic number for them to show up.
