Walker, Thank you for looking into this. I did delete all the part editor cuts and input them with the correct spacing. (lazy me!). On this project it does not really matter whether I can or cannot constrain these cuts...but what I wanted to know is, is there a limit on the amount of part editor cut...

Constraint Manager limit or bug?
Are there limits on the amount of profile cuts for parts editor OR the amount of profile cuts on a particular part that Constraint Manager can handle? I am designing a coffee table with grooves on the top. I input them haphazardly in the part editor, hoping that I can space them evenly with the cons...

Thank you Todd. I was afraid that would be the answer. Could this be put on the wish list? (anyone else interested in this feature?) Perhaps it could be saved together with the 'Load geometry'? And then have choice to change individual constraints once that part is created? Just a thought...use it d...

Copying of constraints
Can constraints for a part be copied to other similar parts? I have made cuts on a shelf and constrained them, now I want the same constraints on all the other shelves.

Michael, If you use Accutrans and you 'Save with options' as a stl (binary), have a look at the 'Flags' section. There you can tick the option 'Write one layer per file'. This gives you multiple files of the object which you can then take into the display part editor and texture seperately. It is qu...

Shannon, Take your countertop to the editor. Go into contour mode. Right click with your mouse and select 'Create Edges' (at the bottom of choices) This will create a closed contour around all your edges. Next click on fillet tool and select the radius of your fillet. Now click on a line close to th...

Peter, I tried your method and...no dice...it still plays up (or not) even after pressing the other direction and entering a positive number, after I press OK the message box is there waiting for me. Clicking on OK on the message box only opens another and another and another...I think my computer h...

Part editor bug that caught me out a few times
In the part editor, if you want to do a profile cut and you inadvertantly enter a negative number in the comp left or right field a message box appears that says \"Please enter a positive number\". Try as you might, you cannot get rid of this message box - you have to shut down the program...

Rick, Thank you for your reply, but I do not understand. How much inset? Is it until what is left, is as big as I wanted the stretcher in the first place? I am actually using the stretcher to simulate a frame of square tubing that will then recieve a shelve on top of it. It is for a worktable that I...

Stretcher question
Quick question (Hopefully a simple answer!) Can one define a stretcher between two stretchers? I want to put a stretcher from the back top horizontal one to the front one on both sides and in the middle, but when I select both and try to define a stretcher it comes up with a message that says :- The...
